R
Tidal Wave
Summons a massive Tidal Wave that knocks up, slows, and damages enemies. Allies hit gain double the effect of Surging Tides.
Position yourself slightly behind your ADC to protect them from enemy engages while staying within range to apply pressure with your abilities.
Start with Ebb and Flow, which can bounce between enemies and allies. Use it to poke enemies when they go for last hits or to heal your ADC if they take damage.
Utilize your basic attacks to harass enemies whenever they step out of position. Nami's empowered auto-attacks from Tidecaller's Blessing can apply a slow, making it easier to land subsequent abilities.
Look for opportunities to trade favorably with the enemy bot lane. Land Aqua Prison on priority targets, such as the enemy ADC or support, to set up trades in your favor.
Place wards in key locations to track the enemy jungler's movements and prevent ganks. This will allow you to play more aggressively when the enemy jungler is elsewhere on the map.
If the opportunity arises and your ADC is in a safe position, consider roaming to other lanes to provide assistance or set up kills for your team.
Position yourself safely during fights and skirmishes. Keep an eye on the minimap and be aware of enemy movements.
Use Ebb and Flow and Tidal Wave to protect your carries. Use Aqua Prison to catch out-of-position enemies or to peel for your teammates. Follow up with Tidal Wave to disrupt the enemy team during fights. Tidal Wave is excellent for both engaging and disengaging.
Use Ebb and Flowfor both healing allies and damaging enemies. Apply Tidecaller's Blessing to your ADC or the primary damage dealer to maximize its impact. Aqua Prison can be game-changing if landed correctly.
Assist your team in securing these objectives by providing vision and healing. Use your abilities to zone enemies or initiate fights around these objectives.
Roam to mid lane or jungle with your ADC or when the lane is pushed. Help secure kills or objectives with your CC and heals. Be flexible in responding to lane swaps or rotations. Your goal is to support your team in gaining an advantage.
Use pings and chat to call for objectives when it’s safe and advantageous for your team. Coordinate with your jungler and mid laner for ganks and objective control. Inform your team when your ult is ready for a potential engage or disengage.
Key items include Shurelya's Battlesong, Redemption, and Mikael's Blessing. Focus on building utility and defensive items rather than damage. Your role is to support and enhance your team’s effectiveness.
As a squishy support, positioning is crucial. Stay behind your frontline and avoid getting caught out of position. Position yourself close enough to your carries to heal and shield them, but far enough to avoid being the target of enemy initiations.
Your primary job is to keep your carries alive. Use Ebb and Flow to heal them and Aqua Prison to disable enemies diving onto your carries. Use Aqua Prison to catch key targets or disrupt the enemy team. Follow up with Tidal Wave to knock up and slow multiple enemies, creating opportunities for your team to capitalize. Use Tidal Wave to initiate fights, catch out-of-position enemies, or disengage when the enemy team is pushing too hard.
Prioritize healing your team, especially during extended fights. The bounce effect can also damage enemies, providing some extra poke. Apply Tidecaller's Blessing to your primary damage dealer or anyone focusing on a key target. Aqua Prison is your main crowd control tool.
The Baron and Elder Dragon are game-changing in the late game. Ensure your team has vision control and be prepared to use your abilities to secure or contest these objectives.
In the late game, moving as a group is essential. Stay with your team to provide constant support and to be ready for team fights. Use pings and chat to communicate with your team about upcoming objectives, enemy positions, and your cooldowns
Adapt your build based on the enemy team composition. Consider items like Ardent Censer if you have auto-attack-based carries or Knight's Vow to protect a specific ally.
Keep track of your cooldowns and use them strategically in fights. Don’t waste your abilities.
Be flexible in your approach. Sometimes you need to initiate, sometimes you need to peel, and sometimes you need to disengage. Late-game fights can be chaotic. Stay focused, keep an eye on your carries, and use your abilities methodically.
