Introduction

Hi, my name is Jashery and this is my first Guide to Nasus, the strongest late game champion in the entirety of the League of Legends. In this guide i'm gonna explain to you how to be a pro at Nasus and live up to the name of "Stack Dog"

Runes

So for runes I would run tier three scaling health quintessences for a consistent increase in health throughout the game, I use scaling MR glyphs and Scaling Armor and health Runes as well. It's a fairly simple rune page but expensive. If you can't afford it try to at least take tier two runes along the same lines since there aren't any scaling there.

Masteries

Masteries are important on Nasus. Normally I would recommend thunderlords on all champions but nasus has something that makes him very special. His Q, Siphoning Strike gets increased damage for each minion you last hit with it, and this bonus is doubled for siege minions, large monsters, and champions, and it also scales infinitely. This is important because if you take the keystone Stormraiders surge, you will be able to q a champion and do enough damage that the stormraiders surge will kick in and you can either run away, or chase down the enemy champion. Precision is used for armor piercing. Dangerous game is for close situations where you get the kill. Merciless is for executing champions with the increased damage. Assasin is for increased damage as well because top lane is a solo lane, but If you do duo go buiscuts instead of assassin. And wanderer is for all around map presence. In the ferocity tree you take fury because the increased attack speed will help you, double edged sword for increased damage, Vampirism is for the increased lifesteal which works well with your passive, and then bounty hunter is good for branching out of your lane.

Skill Sequence

So first you'll want to max your siphoning strike for the increased damage and shorter cooldown which will help you last hit minions at a faster rate.
Next you'll max your because at full level it makes it to where your enemies can't escape you no matter what they do.
Then finally you'll max your e for the damage, even though it's not much.
Your ult is important to you because it gives you increased health and when it's active you steal a portion of a nearby champions attack damage. This enhances your q damage is important for engaging. This can also save you from dying in a tight situation.

Summary

All in all, Nasus Is a great champion. He has great use in teamfights with his slow, he does massive damage with his q and can soak up all of the damage for your squishy mages and adc's. Get out there and get stacking! And thank you to Niukidd. I plan on maintaining this and improving it throughout the future months.
