This is a guide for my wonderfull girlfriend Sam. She wasn't happy with the other guides out there that made her too squishy or left her without any game presence. So I decided to make this for her. It puts in a lot of resilience and adds ability power to make sure that you actually have some presence especially in the late game, without sacrificing survivalbility.

This guide may NOT be the guide you are looking for but when me and my girlfriend and a few other friends get together it works really well.

The runes in this build give a great combination of survival and actual game PRESENCE. A big thing that a lot of guides do wrong with Soraka is that they either make her too tanky or too squishy. This is a rune mix that gives the best of both worlds.

: This is a great rune for getting more of that early game presence.

: This is a rune for stacking dat sweet, sweet armor.

: Same as the Mark above.

: This is for more of that game presence that Soraka often lacks.

The reason why there are so many armor runes is because Soraka builds early magic resist and doesn't need the magic resist in the early stages of the game.

Basicly the masteries follow the theme of this guide. That is: tanky Soraka with good heals. You can mix and match them as much as you want as long as you keep the item and rune build the same you should get about the same result.

This is Sorakas tanky as hell item build.

: This item keeps you in the lane for longer, healing / mana(ing?) your AD carry

Sight Ward : Grab this at the start but dont throw it down about about the 5 min mark. No one is really going to try a gank before then because any jungle that does is an idiot and will compleatly screw up his farming.

Next you want to start getting your cooldown reduction and movement speed up. Get your followed by a few more CDR / AP / Magic Resist items. The rest is fairly self explainatory.
