I almost always get the upgraded jungle item first. It's important when getting Devourer that you get it as soon as possible, so that you can begin working towards your Sated faster.

I usually do sabre -> devourer -> boots in the early game

What would I rush for first? The upgraded jg item + boots or + dagger and some wards?

RE: Glory on Xin

Not that great. Glory is for bruisers who don't have a gap-closer, or their gap-closer is bad (ex: Olaf/Skarner). Xin's gap-closer is awesome, so there's no need for it.

RE: Max E first

E is maxed first as it's better for ganks and better for clear damage. Q is mainly used as an auto-attack reset, so you only need 1 point for that, no need to max it first.

What do you think of getting glory on him?

My main jungler is Xin Zhao and I always buy Ravenous Hydra after the Devourer. The life steal fits very well with his W's passive and the damage is also hardcore. After that I buy Randuin and Spirit Visage (depending on enemy), and the latter is also strengthening the Hydra's life steal. With Hydra you can kill more enemies in a big range with single-target spells, which gives you stronger laning, jungling, and it's a big pro in teamfights. I always take Trinity Force as last item. Try it ;)

This was a great guide! It got me to start thinking of how good Xin Zhao actually is right now, and so I'm going to give him a shot.

It should go like this:

1. auto
2. q-reset
3. auto
4. W

The increased attack speed does not make the auto-reset happen any faster, so wait until after you auto-reset to activate W

Do you use Q and W at the same time, or separately?
