Introduction...

-Full tank... Full tank Vi has made its way on to the competitive scene recently, and with some decent success. Vi already has tonnes of damage with no items, so building full tank really isn't that bad.
-Full damage... Although Vi is naturally fairly tanky with her tri force black cleaver build, this full damage build can backfire, and initiating teamfights can leave you swimming with the fishes due to lack of tankiness!
-My build... My build includes a bit of everything, armor, magic resist, health, cdr you name it. I have had great success with this build, and recommend it to anyone trying out vi for the first time.
Pros...
-Great ganks
-Decent jungle clear, especially with items
-Great teamfight changing cc
-Can target 'squishies' very easily
-High damage even without items
-Huge map pressure with items
-Easy to counter jungle(good in duels)
-Can kill dragon very quickly
-INITIATION
-Easy to dive towers with
-Great mobility
Cons...
-Her q can be easily avoidable
-Need followup and tankiness to survive and initiate fights with Assault and Battery
-Loses a large amount of damage with low mana
-Doesn't yet have a 'Definitely not Vi' skin

Vi isn't hard to master, you only need time and bravery to get good at her. The hardest part about Vi is landing every q and flash q. Try to predict where exactly they are going to run, and even if you miss, its a great gap closer and get you close enough to apply red buff and wait for another q. As soon as you hit 6, gank mid or bot (top lane can do what they want). Even if someone flashes your q you can still ult them, making her ganks one of the best in the game.
Vi in teamfights can do a few things, one being peeling for your highest dps ally. If a Zed jumps on your fed Kalista, don't be afraid to ult them, you don't have to initiate the teamfight yourself. Another way of playing Vi in a teamfight is treating her as an assassin, this is more for the full damage Vi build. Using this technique, wait for the teamfight to unfold, and then ult and kill the enemy dps once no one is there to peel for them. The final and most fun way of playing Vi is initiating onto the enemy squishies as soon as you see an opening. Just be aware that the whole enemy team won't be scared to jump on you...
