About this Guide

This build is all about AP.
All you need is AP to win the game. Lazer across the map to get kills, while your AD carry and bruiser go push. Make it so the enemy to think your losing, then at level 6 you go roam around with your ultimate. It does so much damage at rank 5, and it has 0 second for its CD you should be able to spam it. Out of mana? Nah, get blue buff and duo que with a Soraka. Tell the Soraka to max 15 points in her mana spell, which will fill your mana pool and have a 0 second CD on that. You and Soraka will be connected like Skarner's ult so have fun!

Jungling

Jungling as Lux is pretty simple. Ancient Golem, then you take the rest of the jungle. Gank if needed. When you reach lv 6, just spam your skills from mid lane and take your jungle, the enemy jungle, kill mid laner, bot/top laners, and take Baron Nashor.
Solo Baron Nashor like this, and your Soraka will heal and give you mana.
Piss the enemy jungler off with finales funkeln.

Ranked Play

If your first pick, take Lux. If your not, ask if you can trade with first pick. If they don't have Lux, Make sure they don't pick her. If they do, QUE DODGE. By the way, I brought myself up to 2000 elo with this build, but then I was brought down because they always banned Lux. In Conclusion, this build on lux is very viable in high elo ranked games.

Farming

Once you reach lv 6, Just r and instantly kill the minions. Before that, just farm like normal AP caster. After lv 6, you'll have 0 second CD and so just finales funkeln the minions all the way back to the nexus. taking the other lanes minions when they walk to the other lanes. Take the enemy jungle and kill the enemy jungler too. They will be like "OMG OP LUX CAN KILL ME WHEN I'M IN MY OWN JUNGLE!! GG!" That means they will surrender.

Team Fights

R, PENTAKILL
Late game, you'll have 902.551 AP. Just stay in the FOW and wait till they get in a line. Make sure they can leave right away, and spam that R key. Soon enough, they'll all die. Make sure that you say "IMA FIRE IN MAH LAZOR!!!" just to piss them off.

Laning

Once you get lv 2, Zone them and finales funkeln whenever you can. You got ancient golem right? Kills give you the most gold now. Farming isn't very needed in the game. So start at blue, then go ult them at mid. right now it has a pretty long CD so just farm. When you reach lv 6, go harrass them like you've never done before. They run? Well with the OP range you'll be able to get them. You automatically won the lane unless you have too much lag.

Playing as lux

Start at the Ancient Golem with Soraka she will help you and she doesn't take the exp. You'll start with 66 AP. Once you do that, you get lv 2. finales funkeln from there 2 times and get first blood. Go either bot or top (depending which side your on) and get another kill or two. After this, you should be at least lv 3. Go mid get another kill then just ult the minions for farm. get wards lv 1 if you want to steal buffs. Rinse and at repeat. Then by 20 minutes, you should have at least a few hundred kills. If they dont give up, Just win the game. When the nexus is about to explode, use your lazor to finish it off.

Summoner spells.

Usual Summoner Spells:

Flash- Get out of risky situations.
Ignite- If they come close, ignite them. EVEN IF THEY HAVE FULL HP!!! THIS WILL ALWAYS WORK!!! THEY WILL GO RUN AWAY AND THEN LAZOR THEM.

Other Viable Summoner Spells:

Clairvoyance- STEAL BARON AND DRAGON ALL YOU WANT NOW WITH THE SUMMONER SPELL CLAIRVOYANCE!!!
Clarity- If Soraka isn't with you
Smite- If your jungling
