Hey guys Defiant Fart here with an In Depth Ekko guide. I play basically nothing but ekko everywhere. Jungle, Mid, Top. He is a very versatile champion able to fit many roles. With patch 6.23 going tanky ekko in the top lane isn't much of a choice now since riot updated his passive to have a CD. Although its still possible I would highly not recommend it. Now lets get started on this.

-FYI-
I use abbreviations like MR(Magic Resist) AA(auto attack) etc

-Pros-
Ekko is a great pick against very squishy team comps.
He is very fun to play and you can just carry very easily with him.
Easy combos to land.
Not banned in many games.
Good escapes due to his E can dash through walls, and his Ultimate.
-Cons-
A smart team knows to take stuns, roots, etc.
Spells cost a lot of mana.
Have to play safe around certain champions.

So basically you want to pick off their carries with a quick E-Q-AA to start with then if things get sketchy you have you're zhonyas or his ultimate to buy you time or to disengage.
I always throw out my W in fights because often times I randomly get a 2 man stun on their back line and that is enough time to do some damage and burn some flashes.
Flanking with Ekko can be a huge fight changer. If you can time it right most of the time you can catch them by surprise with a nasty pick on their carry.
Also. When they chase you watch you're ghost and soon as you see that the carries or all 5 of them are on top of it watch the madness unfold and look like a big **** bandito.

One of my things I like to do is when im about to activate his passive I ult back onto my current position and I proc the 3rd hit which applies more damage to my ultimate which at level 6 does 450 damage(not including items). This is useful for just erasing enemies. You pretty much throw everything you have at them.

-Trading Tip-
So in lane I stick to a very easy trading combo. I E-Q-AA-AA and try and let the Q hit them on the way back. Notice I didn't use my W. Here is why. I use my W at random times in the lanning phase. The enemy will have a very easy to spot method of how they deal with you when you W they may tend to stay near their turret or they may stay where they are. Either way it tells you when you go for an all out engage where to put it to get the best results. AND DONT BE AFRAID TO DIVE UNDER TURRENTS WITH EKKO! His W's shield is awesome, and his ult can get you out of harms way. And better yet lets say they live with 50 hp and you disengage without using your ULT you can ult back in and finish them off under turrent and E away or Flash.
