Whats up guys this is my first real build. I'm going to try and make it as good and explanatory if possible. Please up vote if its good and down vote if its not good but leave a comment on how i can make it better or suggestions.

This guide is going to show you how to use Irelia The Will of the Blades

(sorry no jungle section to this guide I don't jungle with her thats not my play sorry.)

Pros:
-Great laner
-Stuns are fun
-Good Spiker
-Life Steal
-True Damage
-Blink Strike
-Ultimate that heals massive amounts
-Anti carry
-HER AMAZING ABILITY TO SHRED CC

Cons:
-Not a lot of damage out put super early game
-Easy to harras
-Hard Champion to play
-Not much I can list from this

Lets start off with the runes.

Magic Pen Marks: Helps Equilibrium Strike and your ultimate
Hp5 Seals: Heal helps you be more tanky = longer laning
Magic Resist Glyphs: Who doesn't like magic resist
Movement Speed Quints: To my opinion Movement speed is one of the most important things you can have in the game escaping chasing you name it. You need to be somewhere all the time.

Down the defense tree helps your laning phase go much smoother.

Trinity Force: Most important item must rush first. This item has everything Irelia needs.

Mercury Treads: This combine with your passive makes you shred lots of cc lets you escape hair situations.

Hextech Gunblade: Very useful for Irelia this item give you attack damage with life steal and ability power with spell vamp. Plus an active.

Nashors Tooth: Gives you attack speed and ability power. Mix in cool down reduction.

Hexdrinker: Don't laugh this item has saved me multiple times. The passive on this item is great.

Randuin's Omen: Item give you your tanky part health plus armor. The active on this is really good to an AoE slow that lowers attack speed. Not to bad in a team fight.

Maxing your E first.

Farming: Bladesurge and Transcendent Blades

Q Bladesurge: Blink stirke. Used for farming or closing gaps between enemys.

W Hiten Style: True Damage Health per hit.

E Equilibrium Strike: Slow/Stun Slow them if you have higher health percentage. Stun if they have a higher health percent then you.

R Transcendent Blades: Easily used to farm creeps. Chasing escaping enemys.

These are the summoner spells i take all the time

Flash: Great escaping spell Irelia doesn't really have any escaping tools to her so always take flash.

Ghost: Great for chasing great for escaping. Can't really say much more about it.

I couldn't really give you any others i mean you could try exhaust that could come in handy or maybe an ignite for the ones that barely get away.

Over all I think Irelia is a viable champ. She can be hard to use so you gotta get used to her play style first. I have had success using this champion. I would suggest this champion to anyone that likes Pantheon or any other good burst champions. I will try and update when patches come out. Please comment vote and comment.
