Personally, I only use Armor Pen and Attack Speed runes with Irelia. Armor and Magic Resist arent really that big of a deal since this character is basically meant to be a glass cannon of sorts. Normally, when I get a group with this character I tend to be the main target instead of our tank just because I push out so much damage so the quicker I can attack the more I can do before I am taken down. Armor will only by you time and also will take away from your damage. Plus Attack Speed will help you gain more life with your passive from Hiten Style. So, I would replace your seals and glyphs with Attack Speed and your quints with Armor Pen. Also, I would look into Last Whisper for a little bit more Attack Speed. Cant have enough attack speed with this character.

I disagree. Getting some armor and magic resist (Chainmail and Negatron Cloak) on Irelia or any other melee dps is f*king awesome. Especially in normal solo-queue games, when you don't have a proper tank defending you, you'll really need to get some defensive stuff yourself to be of any use.

You use only attack speed runes? I don't think that's very good.. Atleast the seals should be armor. 1,41armor should definetly outshine 0,76%attack speed when jungling.

Soloing dragon that early is pretty nice though. She seems like a great jungler.

If you need the runes for early game, why don't you change the seals to flat mana-reg? (3,69 per 5)
Have you tried jungling with her? You'll probably need armor or dodge seals for that though.

Phantom Dancer is not the best of ideas without Nimbleness and dodge seals. Try Trinity Force and Madred's Bloodrazor instead.

I personally don't lane irelia and only jungle her, and i have solid attack speed runes start out with elixer of agility 5 health pots and lvl 4 i go back get doran's blade. You should still have your elixer on and both buffs so you go kill dragon at lvl 4 4 mins into the game, but im sure this will get nerfed.

Bloodrazor should be totally badass with Irelia. Physical, magical and true damage on one attack. Good luck countering that ^^

@ the gyphs(again): I really do recommend changing them to either mr/lvl or CDR.

Manamune as the first item works as far as taking care of your mana problems. I don't have M/5 runes but once I get it I never run out of mana. Much better choice than Innervating for mana issues because of the increased damage. I do miss the Health gain though... but that can be worked around.

Opsie, I didn't check properly.
What I said still applys though. Phantom Dancer is not a good idea without Nimbleness, but since you need those points for other things I suggest that you skip it in favor of for example Madred's Bloodrazor.

And this right here is why I love you! and also why I'm saying I'll pay for our future tournement participations! :) Yes I'll add this to the guide:)

OMG read the guide before you make opinions! Triforce is in the guide. And I don't have Dodge seals atm, saving for that and static CDR

You're the mean one;) asking me to delay my brilliant thoughts to reach the underworld. No I have no regret releasing this guide isn't it obvious that it's just a (side project) at the moment? and dropping manamune in this build is destroying the MAIN aspect of the build.

Ye, removing Manamune will be a bad idea.

Telling everyone mana reg is my earlygame pref. ppl can choose magic res, cdr if they want.. and manamune is great to get survivability aswell as damage and combat efficiency

If you need the runes for early game, why don't you change the seals to flat mana-reg? (3,69 per 5)
