Anyway, since you feel like harassing the **** out of your enemies I recommend you to try Sona.
Why? 1st more dmg, 2nd nice cc with her slow.

Also your runes...I do not completely agree with them. You should also consider that you might fight somebody such as Sona or Taric which will just heal all the dmg YOU as a SUPPORT can possibly deal.
Have you considered HP Quints and cd/lvl glyphs? I change between those and a similar runeset to yours depending on the opponents. I mean... you can easily harass the **** out of an alistair since he's a real mana*****, but vs soraka? I mean c'mon... extra MR and a strong single target heal?

This guide is suiteble towards other supports aswell - But i've seen so many Janna's who get way to scared and goes afk/babystitting only with EotS...And that's one of the main reasons i took time to write this alternetive down.

And when it comes to who you lane AGAINST, i did try to cover that somewhat in a very basic manner.
When you face a strong healing support such as Taric and Soraka..That's kinda what i made this build for.
If you mannage your dmg trading well you'll be abel to drain them out of mana without taking alot of dmg in return. And if you play carefull enough you wont be in any major risk if Taric mannage to get his stun on you.
The only reason this works a lil better then what one might think is due to the mana regen runes. Since most supports try to get Gold over time and other defense stats - they will lack the mana regen to be abel to truly ''spam'' their skills.
Since Zephyr is a low mana skill and since i have my runes - i'm abel to harras them over and over again and force them to heal. And since my mana regen is higher then theirs - he will run oom before me...And once a heal based support is oom - then your free to roam (more or less ofc).

So the whole build is actually aimed toward healing supports and that is why you really need the mana regen runes. Ofc if you think you would do better with an other setup - go for it!
As i wrote: Runes should reflect on how YOU play the champ.

If you got more questions - feel free to add me either in game or post an other reply here.

+1 nice to have another perspective of janna mentioned here.
HOWEVER ... I really hope you will add a 2nd skill sequence considering a more supportive but harassing role. If you say you don't care about newbs forget what I just said.

Anyway, since you feel like harassing the **** out of your enemies I recommend you to try Sona.

Also (I didn't read through everything), have u mentioned that the skill sequence is heavily dependent on your AD carry? Maxing slow first to keep your opponents at distance while your Ashe farms like a boss, I agree. But when playing with an AD Carry such as Graves I recommend to max shield first since his skills scale well with extra ad dmg.

Anyway...Happy I found someone offering other playstyles that are viable in ranked games.

In hope you add a laning section (or overview) not considering your ad carry vs xy but janna vs support and carry (when to pick her etc),

sincerely, Nurid

PS: The mentioned Champions are only examples. I do not recommend to play Janna vs them, neither do I take any responsiblity if you lose your laneto them (though you shouldn't... you're JANNA ******* it). Always keep in mind that there may have been a better support for the time being.

The thing with maxnig EotS first is that you will be bound to an afk babysitting. If you instead go with this more agressive style - your ''need'' to protect the AD carry will more or less fade away since the enemy will not have the time, hp and mana to put him/her in any real danger. The only life you're really tossing with here is your own.

I do however agree that the shield is somewhat needed when it comes to dragon etc - but having that extra 200 burst during the 8-13 lvl reach can mean quite alot on a bot lane fight (Consider it's only around 7 sec cd). You still have all the cc's left for your common support work and lets face it.
By the time any real dragon fight starts - you will be around lvl 10 and then you're shield will be about 50% of it's full hp.

To compare around 120 abosrb with a higher cd rather then 200+ dmg each 7 sec - It's all about trading in the end.

I disagree about taking zephyr before EotS because ur main role is to protect ur ally. in a fight in bot/drag/w/e EotS will give ur ad carry 42 more AD(from lvl 1 to 5) and about 200 more shield, while the zephyr will only give u abuot 100 dmg on a target and a more effective slow.

You've got a very good guide. However, I'd suggest learning how to code stuff. For example, Janna. This will help your guide look better overall and make it less of a wall of text. Refer to this guide for details.
