Oh, and yeah.. For the masteries, you're right. I don't know why I never thought of that. Thanks for letting me know, I don't think I'd ever figure out.
*starts improving the guide*
EDIT: Colouring all this text has made me half-blind (atleast that's how I feel). I hope it's atleast a bit nicer to read, and I will improve it more tommorow - I'll also add a warding section & more gameplay information soon.
+1
You overuse colors and not enough of other BBC code inputs. Colors are great, but too many, especially lighter, bright colors, are painful to the eyes.
Your mastery tree also is rather strange. You shouldn't need the tower-armor reduction. And you should have points in the minion reduction and indomitable. They reduce 4 damage per minion, which stacks up over time when you trade and freeze the lane. Honor Guard is also a terrible skill since if you receive 1000 damage, you get 15 damage reduction.
You generally lack some of the indepthness several parts of the guide could have, such as in the items, his runes, and so on.
For a guide in progress, it is well written. I'll back to check on it over time. +1 !
I've read trough your guide, and I must say that I enjoyed doing it.
Your guide is pretty well written and it contains a lot of good information.
Personally I haven't played Jarvan IV yet. But with this guide I might give it a try once I am finished with my build. There were a couple of things that can be improved a little.
Here is my constructive criticm.
It is very important to make your information crystal clear to read.
Right now you have got a lot of text placed after each other and it is not really inviting to read it all. You do use quite a lot of BB Code, but there is always room for improvement.
One of the most important aspects about the BB Code are the lists.
These lists will convert your text from a 'wall of text' to chunks of well placed text which actually looks inviting to read. I recommend you jhoijhoi's Guide of making a Guide. This guide helped me a lot too. It has everything you need to style your guide and make it one big pleasure for your readers.
The idea is good, but personally, all these colors made it very confusing for me to read trough your guide. I'm someone that has a terrible concentration and is distracted very fast. This made your guide rather painful to read when talking about how fast I could read trough it.. xD.
You might want to reduce the amount of colours to three different colours.
For example, everything that has to do with general information about the game/guide coloured yellow, every single in-game term pink and every term specifically about Jarvan coloured Light Green.
This actually makes it a little less complicated and you actually give the colours a meaning.
I know you have done that too now, but it is too much to remember all these colors.
Keep in mind that people are learning things written in your guide, they don't want to look up an abbreviation all the time haha.
Since I haven't played Jarvan IV too much I can't give a lot of concept criticm, just some criticm about the layout. Again, I strongly recommend you jhoijhoi's guide, and then especially the lists.
Keep going !!.
