I used to get Rageblade as my first item or very early on, but I've now changed and don't get it early on. The reason for this is because for the early-mid laning phase, an enemy really wouldn't let you hit you that many times for your Rageblade to start building up. That's my own opinion on it and when I faced other Jax players I killed them easily because I just burst them with a bunch of damage and get out of there so they can't really attack me to build up the stats. I understand that using skills will make the stacks go up but from my perspective it's not as good as the early build that I go for. :)

Thanks for the tip, Adovid! I changed the Archmage points into Blast, tried it out myself and it does help a lot more, I expected Archmage to give me a bit more AP but I guess I miscalculated. Havok in my opinion is not as good as Deadliness because for Havok, it's 1.5% increase in damage, and I'm just gonna say I'll get around 300-500 damage per strike depending if I have Sheen or not, and 1.5% of that isn't much at all, so I'll leave it as it is.

I left the Elixirs out because I feel people will know to buy them when their build is done, but I guess I'll add that in. Thanks!

This build is actually really good.

Mental Force, Blast and Havok instead of Deadliness Lethality and Archmage. Is what I'm thinking.

Archmage will only give you 9 ability power after you finish all your items and max your stacks on rage-blade but Mental Force and Blast will give you 22 ability power at level 18. It's all about the spike damage, killing people before they can run. Havok makes that 1.5% more possible :/.

Deadliness is ****, it's not enough damage to really justify it unless you go all ad per level and want to make it more so you get like 20 ad by level 6 or something. Also since you don't get critical chance except for one item Lethality, you can't really rely on it for spiking down people(Atmas isn't bad on jax, even when he doesn't have warmogs).

Oh yea and get Green Elixir when you have rageblade and trinity force. Use it when you are in mid fight to kill people when they least expect it.

Thanks for the feedback! The reason I get Atma's is because there really isn't any other item with both armor AND damage, even the critical strike helps a little. As for the Archmage Mastery, it stacks well with your Rageblade. Other than that, updated the guide. :D

I'd suggest you to remove your 4 points on ARCHMAGE for something else because 5% of 145 ap is close to 7 ap, its nothing, a lot better if it was hybrid jax with more AP

+1 I like this build
My only suggestion is changing atmas impaler for something else. Why? atmas has been nerfed recently to 1.5, and you only have about 2500 Hp with this build. Thats not very beneficial. It might be better to trade it for some other armor item/dps item

Great guide.

Suggestions:
- You lack defenses. Consider putting some points into the defense tree in masteries or adding a Warmog's Armor with Atma's Impaler, or a tank item like Randuin's Omen into your main build.

- Your guide is a bit brief, try to expand on laning and explanations on items and skills. (Ex. Leap Strike is a great gap closer, Guinsoo's Rageblade will give you a ton of damage, etc.)

- Take Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist instead of flat MR, you are most likely to face an AD top and mages don't hurt that much early game.

Otherwise it looks good to me.
