Runes
I use these marks to get more attack damage, allowing easier last hits and because Jax's abilities scale of AD.
MORE
I use these seals because you're playing Jax top, most likely vsing another AD bruiser. These seals give more armor to counter them.

I use these glyphs to get extra magic resist, to counter AP top laners or their Mid lane.

- Greater Mark of Precision 9.00 Armor Penetration and 5.13 Magic Penetration to deal slightly more damage with auto attacks and abilities, due to Jax's hybrid scaling.
- Greater Mark of Magic Penetration 8.55 Magic Penetration to deal more damage with abilities. Used on AP Jax

- Greater Seal of Health for extra health early game.
- greater seal of defense if you are versing an AP top and jungler, and if you don't think you will be taking much damage from minions or turrets early. Starts to balance out around level 9.
- greater seal of vitality for if you think you will be very safe, not taking much damage at all early game and if you want to be tankier late game.

- Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist if you don't think you will take AP damage early. Starts to balance out around level 6.

- Greater Quintessence of Health for more health early game, and if you want to be more tanky.
- Greater Quintessence of Life Steal for more lifesteal with your auto attacks. Combined with Bloodthirster and Relentless Assault you will be pretty much unkillable. As long as you're attacking someone. Otherwise it's worthless.
- Greater Quintessence of Spell Vamp for spell vamp. Combined with Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction and a well timed Q>W combo, you can gain lots of health back.
- Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed to be able to catch up to your enemies. Removes the need for a Boots and x3 Health Potion start.
