Introduction
When playing as Jax its important to know this do not buy the dorans shield since you can survive without it.
I always take the LS (Leap Strike) skill at start because it great for attack retreat tactics at start. as you reach level 2 take the EP (Empower) skill when you got that before going to a battle use the EP skill and right after use LP for massive damage. but if you are attacking a minion just make a LS and then a normal EP strike. When reaching level 3 just take the CS skill (Counter Strike) and then before going to fight just make sure you can use CS and make a EP, LS and then CS then ignite if they are running away.
that was a fast introduction about how to play Jax at start.
Items
At start always buy the boots of speed and no pots (potions) reason why i always buy these is because you can always use the speed if enemys are running away
Ninja Tabi are a must for jax since his life almost depends on his dodge + whenever you dodge you can use your CS ability and it gives a bit armor.
Atmas Impaler is also good because of its armor crit rating and its Unique passive
Phantom Dancer is a great item for hunting down enemies because of its 15% speed boost and its the item that gives the most AS right after sword of the divine.
Infinity Edge because it gives a massive attack bonus and crit rating + its Unique Passive which gives 50% more crit damage.
Hextech Gunblade im using this for the Life Stealing and its AP bonus which boosts some of Jax's Abilities.
And Madreds Blood Razor because of its damage and AS bonus and its Unique passive.
