Welcome, to my second guide.In this guide I will teach you some tactics and some tips and tricks about Jax,the grandmaster at Arms.

I just want to say that im not English, so my English isnt that perfect. I would appreciate it if you would say if I did any mistakes.

Abbreviations: You may notice some Abrev. in the single sections and at the top.

Well, Jax can be called "OP Char" for some reasons.
He has great sustain and a high damage output due to his skills and passives.
He has good escape/engage skills and can be played in many ways like offtank,ad and hybrid (not often seen after the patch)

When, you hear "Patch" you will think Jax was nerfed,NOT!!!!!!!!!!.
He is remade in a good way, ok it may be possible that the old jax had better better sustain and Damaga-Output, but this was before the Hextech nerf.Today Jax turned into one of the best Offtanks in the entire game.

Well the first two Builds are pretty much the same :/ only with another order of the Items and Some changes.

I prefer the first one, this is my main Jax build.
Well with the first too build you will go more tanky,with a medium-high damage output;- i recommend this build if the enemies have many damage dealers

The third build,well, lets say it more an experiment. I tried this shortly after the Patch to find a good build for jax , it works relatively fine, because of the damage dealt buy your ultimates passive.

Leap Strike

Great ability,which scales on both AD and AP.
This skill is used as a gap-closer whichworks even otherwise, because, you can jump to your Allies and sight wardWards too.
This why allways remind that you will have a Wriggles Lantern.

Empower

The main ability of Jax.Its the main damage ability of Jax and can be used before Leap strike to deal additional damage.

BAM BAM BAM...wrong game, but its almost the same. its the ability that makes you counter every ad carry. It deals up too 200% percent damage for every aditional hit taken from enemy units/champs.Why BAM BAM BAM?Because while the duration of the dodge you can feel free to deal as much damage to your opponent(s).The main function of this skill is the stun which apllies after channeling. The stun is AoE.(Area of effect)
This skill is VERY useful in the jungle.

Grandmaster´s Might

After you skilled this ability you can Jungle,jungle and jungle(ganking included)
On activation you get a medium boost of armor and magic resist.
and on every third attack you will deal´bonus magic damage.

Laning

Your goal in the laning phase is to get as much farm as possible.Thats all.
But you want some kills too,ofcause you want.
Before you can get some kills its nescessary to harrass you opponent buy simple tactics
Activate your E+ Q + W.
If your opponent starts too attack you you should flee until you can do your last combo.
But if you´re already level 6 do this.
Activate your Ultimate.And do the following: Autoattack,Autoattack + instant
this will deal a good amount of burst damage.

Jungling

Jungling is pretty easy.
Ask for a pull/cover of the blue buff.
Attack the Golem with basic attacks and frequently cast your .
now go to the wolves and use your then .
Now you can finish of the wolves. Repeat the last step at Wraiths,Golems;Red buff, until you hit lvl 3. now you can gank

Thats pretty much the same what you do in teamfights.

Wriggles Lantern:Good for jungling,You can use your to jump on the ward for escaping/gap closing.

Frozen Mallet,More CC(40% slow),life, a bit AD.

Hextech Gunblade,more sustain,more damage,more resistens due to his Ultimate(if activated),good active ability(50% slow)

Trynity Force,Another slow,many usefull bonuses,Sheen-effect-> bonus damgage especially on

Maw of Malmortius,Bonus AD, especially if you have low health,bonus Magic Resist,A shield which absorbs any spells
