Introduction

Hello, Im a platinum jungle player and Ill be teaching you how I play Ekko in the jungle. Ekko is currently my main champion and after looking at a dozen guide here on mobafire, not a single one had quite the build Im building so I thought why not give it a try...

NOTE: This is my first guide and Im not good at BBcode yet so Ill keep it short, simple and text mostly, Also this isnt a guide for someone who is trying to learn ekko, this is a guide for someone who already knows the abilites etc...

Runes

The runes I use are pretty standard but Ill go over them

yellows: For these we take flat armor, it helps us survive the jungle
reds: Its flat attack speed for reds, this is great for our passive and the initial jungle clear
blues: Scaling MR for blues, since our build is focued more on armor this makes us just a bit tankier late game
quints: For quints im using magic penetration, pretty self explanatory

Masteries

The masteries I use are mostly normal except for the two AD masteries (Brute force and Martial mastery) which give us initial clear time in the jungle.

Team Work

In the late game, teamwork is the key to playing ekko succesfuly. With this build you should be jumping on their carries, bursting them down and cleaning the fight up BUT you shouldnt be the one to engage. Youve got just enough tankiness to survive their dmg for a few secs but you cannot tank for your team fully. Also look for opportunities to land your W in a teamfight. Ekko is great with almost any team comp so you should fit right in with any type of engage and so on...

Summary

If played correctly, you will be a great nuisance to the enemy team, picking them off and darting around. I hope this guide will make you try Ekko in a different way, and have fun
