So I have been in the jungle with Jax for a while now and I generally do well with him. usually never go negative even on losing games. Through this guide I am going to explain my setup, why i chose this setup and how I play Jax. I am not the best player out there but I do know what I am talking about with regards to Jax.

I have my runes pretty mush built into atk speed and cd reduction. I have don't this for a couple of reasons. My first reason is because I want to worry less about my atk speed late game and worry more about my damage over all. Also because of the proc I pick for my Mastery's atk speed will allow me to proc it quicker and end up doing more damage from it. I built cd reduction because I like to use my stun as quickly as possible and when I am providing a gank or being ganked it helps that I can stun them right off the bat.

I have bought all the way into Fervor of Battle for my main mastery. The reason for this is because of my atk speed I can proc this quickly and do massive damage in the begining just with this and no items. Also while jungling it helps to take down those big monsters with ease.

Ok so under my items you may notice I did not go straight for rageblade. In fact I rarely use rageblade in my style of play. If you notice with Botrk and my jungle item I have 2 slows for my setup. Plus with my runes it gives me about 1.68 atk spd @ lvl 18. So i feel as though rageblade in the end would not be all that great for me especially since I have to proc it for the atk speed and ap bonus. I want my damage now and I dont want to wait for it. After Hydra depending on how the other team is looking is when I will decide whether I need to build tanky or just go all out damage. If I go damage I build IE because with my insane atk speed plus the AD that I will have at that point criting while attacking fast is always going to be great. plus with the lifesteal off both the hydra and botrk you should be able to 1v1 anyone even hardcore tanks at this point. Build Bloodthirster only if you want to go all in with the lifesteal. I usually build Gaurdian Angel as last thing for group battle sustain and benig able to die at the begining of group battle then as everyone is dying come back and clean up the mess that was left.
