Hi, my name is Fez. This is my first build for mobafire and it is for the most underated jungler in the league at the moment, Nami the Tidecaller. While Nami's jungle can be weak, once the spirit stone comes out, clearing the camps becomes far easier. The enemy team will never expect a pro gank from a Nami jungle so when you pull one off, they'll be shellshocked.

I find that running my flat AP rune set with Hybrid Pen reds will help round off Nami's damage early game. I have yet to experiment with other rune sets though and will need to update this.

Masteries are fairly standard.

I'll go through each item and why I chose it here:

Ionian Boots of Lucidity
I've been thinking about Ionian Boots of Lucidity or Sorcerer's Shoesand ultimately settled CDR boots because Nami's kit is very utility based and damage comes secondary to have stun up faster.

Spirit of the Spectral Wraith
The best jungle item to get on Nami, not much explanation needed.

Athene's Unholy Grail
Because Nami is a very mana dependent champion, Athene's is the perfect item for her as it gives her; Mana Sustain, Ability Power, Cooldown reduction and some needed MR.

Lich Bane
I've been contemplating switching around the order of Athene's and Lich Bane but I believe her dependency on CD's and mana are too high. Nonetheless, as a second item, Lich Bane is a gem as it works well with the damage buff from Tidecaller's Blessing.

Liandry's Torment
This gives Nami a greater survivability in the game as well as extra AP. Given the nature of Nami's kit with her stun and slows, Liandry's passive is a bonus.

Rylai's Crystal Scepter
If you've made it to Rylai's on Nami jungle, you're most likely stomping your game and considering building a Rabadon's or Zhonyas. While these items can be useful in particular situations, for example, abilities such as Requium and Deathmark can easily save you from death with a well-timed Zhonyas. Rylai's, however, offers a greater overall survivability that Nami lacks and it's passive only adds to her utility laden kit of CC.

Always pick up Aqua Prison first as it helps to stun the minions while getting your leash. Picking up 2 points on Tidecaller's Blessing will increase your damage output when taking the camps, without this it can be difficult to clear the jungle.

Nami is the most versatile jungler in League of Legends. When I play blue team I find it best to go Red > Wraiths > Blue > Wolves > Recall and regen > gank top. When on purple team it is reversed: Blue > Wolves > Wraiths > Red > Recall > Ganktop.

Jungling is very hard for Nami but do not let that deter you or throw you off the power of the Nami Jungle. She is highly susceptible to counter jungling and if they have a Shaco on their team, you better ward your buffs. Once Nami buys Spirit Stone her clearing becomes much easier and your options begin to open up.

Nami's ganks are often underestimated. "LOL Nami Jungle, gg Troll" or "you suck you f**** stupid s*** of a fish you stupid c***" are phrases I commonly hear when jungling with the Tidecaller. But when Nami comes into lane with a flash Aqua Prison and Tidal Wave, if you don't get a double kill, qq gg ff.

Because Nami is the strongest and most under rated jungler in the league at the moment, knowing how to counter her is vital knowledge.

Countering a Nami jungle is fairly simple: Invade, Counter-Jungle, set traps. A Nami jungle is usually paired with a good mid laner who can punish anyone that attempts to counter jungle the Tidecaller, keep this in mind.

Pros:

• No one expects a good gank from Nami: use this.
• Nami's extra damage and slows from Tidecaller's Blessing will help her in ganking.
• Nami's early jungling is weak and highly susceptible to counter jungling, set up traps with your laners and counter-coutner-jungle.
• Good bait.

Cons:

• Early jungling is weak.
• Easily counter jungled.
• Team must be good.
• Squishy champion.
• Slow clear time.
• Always low health.
• Hard to recover from behind.

The key to winning games as Nami jungle is to snowball the strongest carries on your team. At the end of the game, when your Kassadin is 11/1/11 and the enemy team is throwing out the "GG Pro Kass" or "L0L Vayne fed Kass", you'll know the real reason your team won; Nami Jungle OP.
