Jax Grand Master of Arms!

It is seldom the case where a champion is defined by his actions after joining the League of Legends rather than before. Such is the case for Jax, for whom the argument could be made that he is the most prolific tournament fighter currently at the Institute of War. The self-proclaimed ''Armsmaster of the League'' has rattled off a streak of consecutive wins that to this day has not been matched. Concerned that the perceived objectivity of the battle arenas would be questioned by a fighter who was unbeatable, the League at one time created special sanctions for Jax. The burly fighter responded by imposing his own special condition as a means of protest he limited himself to fight using only a brass lamppost. Neither the League's sanctions nor his own put a significant dent in his winning ways. The League has since rescinded its sanctions, but Jax has not. To this day, he fights and fights well with his trusty brass lamppost.

''Be advised - there have been an outbreak of lamppost-shaped bruises in the League of Legends.''

Introduction

Getting tired of being dominated by Yi and Tryn and Nasus? Want someone who can go toe to toe with any of these and come out on top? Jax is your man, his crazy high dodge, great damage and an AoE stun make him the ultimate 1v1 melee. This guide shows how to jungle him throughout the game, giving your team 2 solo lanes to mass exp and gold. The only thing to beware is that this build is very dependent on runes and masteries early. If you can't get at least dodge quints, nimbleness, and preferably improved rally, I would recommend simply laning until 6 before hopping in to the jungle.

start with cloth armor + 5 pots

Cloth Armor allows you to take more hits from neutral minions. This gives you more chances to proc Counter Strike. In an actual game, you will want your team to protect you at the Ancient Golem, as Jax gets countered by any strong jungler, such as Shaco and Udyr. Save smite for the last hit on the neutral buffs to prevent it from being stolen by the opposing team. When you have enough gold, teleport back and purchase Ninja Tabi.

If your allied champions are having trouble with a lane, or they are at low health, PLEASE COVER THEIR LANE. Do not spend the entire game in the jungle. The experience you receive from jungling gets worse compared to laning the longer the game progresses.
