My name is Jojishii and I main Kalista. I started using this build shortly before Riot nerfed Kalista's auto-attack and feel that this should help counter it pretty hard and make her OP again. The nerf hit hard because it made leveling E first nearly pointless, so people were trying to say level Q first, but keep the same build. I feel Hurricane is a little overrated since Kalista's Q + Crit Strike can clear out lanes much faster. It IS a valuable item during team fights, but if you're wanting to burn 1 target much faster, Phantom Dancer is the better option. Ultimately, it is similar to a Vayne build, with a different build order. Vayne needs BotRK for a better early game, as opposed to Kalista, who already has a great early game and can go for Infinity Edge much sooner. With this build, I have personally done much better in every game than I ever did with Bloodthirster + Hurricane. Definatly give it a try if you have not. It's well worth it.
