Hi my name is MiK3HWNT today if you care to read this it is a explanation of what Kalista's role is. Kalista is a new champion to league of legends. Her play style is accommodated bot bottom lane marksman(adc), adc is more than likely gonna be played by a marksman. Okay so playing adc as Kalista can be very difficult due to the fact that her auto attacks can not be stopped so if u commit to attacking then theirs no way to get out of it, however her passive also allows her to jump in a direction after the auto attack. Granted if you auto attack then u click some where next to her weather that is forwards, backwards, or side to side, theses jumps can be used to move around the minions or the selected champs you are auto attacking. These jumps also allow Kalista to dodge skill shots such as Morgana's binding or even Thresh's hook. Kalista starts with a item in her inventory called The black Spear, this item allows Kalista to soul-bind with a teammate of her choice the most likely champ is going to be her support. after soul-binding with said teammate her ult allows her to pull them to herself and the said teammate is not able to be damaged, while using her ult the said teammate can right click in a direction to either knock up the enemy champs in range or to run away from a fight they would not have won.

Runes can vary they depend on your play style these are the runes that i use on any of my build for Kalista.

3x Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage
9x Greater Mark of Attack Damage
6x Greater Seal of Attack Damage
3x Greater Seal of Attack Speed
5x Greater Glyph of Attack Damage
4x Greater Glyph of Attack Speed

These runes allow you to have +19 physical damage which then allows to hit harder in the beginning. Also these runes give you +4.8% attack speed which is always nice.
