- I have been playing league of legends since season 5
- season 5: Riven/Irelia two trick, peak platinum 1
- season 6: Kha Zix One Trick Pony, 500 games, peak diamond 4
- season 7: Kha, Hecarim & skarner main Peak Diamond 2
- season 8: average 55% winrate on most jungle champions, currently diamond 1 peaked top 900 on the EUW ladder

I have watched multiple Kayn jungle mains such as Karasmai to get an idea of how Kayn jungle works

My account

Pros:

A tier jungler
Good at counter jungling
High damage
High mobility
Healthy clear
Assassin
Carry jungler

Cons:
Not strong at 1v1 early
No cc early to reduce armor and magic recist on scuttle
Needs his form to power spike

No matter what side you start on you should do the following path:

Enemy Raptors (if possible)
Enemy red buff
Scuttle
Your own blue
Your own gromp
Your own wolves
Your own raptors
Your own red
Your own krugs

If it´s not possible
Your own raptors
Your own Red buff
Scuttle
Wolves
Blue
Gromp

Pros of doing Blue kayn:
Shadow Kayn: Great at assassinating targets. Good when ahead. Bad against tanks and some bruisers. Can get countered hard and one shot if CCed.

Pros of doing Red kayn:
Darkin: Great at frontlining. Deals nicely with tanks and most bruisers. Wants to get focused unlike Shadow just to heal up and make their spells go to waste. Provides CC (knockup).

Things you wanna take into consideration
Look at the enemy, see 4 squishies and think, well Shadow. However, what if you team only has squishies too? Maybe some CC bruiser wouldn't be that bad right.

Shadow Kayn is only really exceptional if ahead.

If for some reason you're behind or get behind while still choosing Shadow, you're gonna have a bad time.

In general, it is ok in most scenarios to go Darkin, even if Shadow would have been ever so slightly better. However, going Shadow is only good in few scenarios

As blue kayn you wanna look for a flank

You wanna flank as blue kayn with your E through a wall and then W Q R onto the target you wanna assasinate

Blue kayn is pretty much straight forward

Team fighting as red kayn is a little more tricky

It basically depends on your team comp

If you are your main source of engage you wanna build tank and look for a good W knock up in team fights and be the one starting the fight

If you are not your main source of engage you might wanna look for either a flank on the enemy back line or peel for your carries with W knock up

Kayn
E duration increased early. Shadow E movement speed increased.

Kayn, especially as Shadow Assassin, is struggling to stay competitive with other junglers. This buff should help him move around the map (and through terrain) and extend his opportunities to pick up kills.
