Nice build! +1! I tried it several times now (and 80% of the time there was someone leaving) and I always had a positive K/D ratio :)
But I have one question... Would this build be viable for a normal 3v3/5v5?
Greetings,

Sorry I didn't get back to you, I got wrapped up in some things. It can, but it's decently hard to use, and you must go top. The other downside is that that early game weakness can really hurt you on SR since you don't level nearly as fast. On SR I would get a RoA instead of Odyn's Veil, also, you could get a Maw of Malmortimus vs a slightly heavier AP team.

Not going to vote, but just so you know, the damage you are projecting is far off of what actually happens, here are a few things to note.
Untrue. If my math is right, and I'm pretty good at mathing.. you only need to take 1,526 damage. 15% of that is reduced by your passive, so its now only 1,297 damage. This applies after magic resist, so you still have to actually take 1,297 damage, which is a lot, but not more than you can handle with all of your spellvamp and lifesteal. I did the math from level 18 base attackspeed so at lower levels it will take a little more damage. I believe after LB nuked me I was already at 2.5..
Anyway, I tried the build out and was pleasantly surprised. It works too well. I was able to take on a Leblanc, and a Viktor and kill them as well as take an eve down to half hp because of the 2.5 attackspeed. Amazed at the effort you put into the matchups. +100 if I could, but +1 instead. Great guide
I think the defensive masteries and the prospectors ring made a big difference for me. I was building him so burst that I had no sustainability. As pure ap my team would often get frustrated that I had to kite so much waiting for my abilities to come off cooldown. I still kite a little with this build, but I'm not afraid to take a few shots.
I'm a bit leary of the hextech gunblade, as I don't have a ton of experience with it. I guess with the sheen + lifesteal plus spell vamp it adds more durability though.
I have been on mobafire over a year, and made an account just to +1 this build. Thank you for taking the time to break down the champion matchups.. very helpful as well.

I must say, at first, I was slightly skeptical, but after trying it out, I must admit it was a very nice build.
However, have you ever considered adding a guinsoos rageblade somewhere in the build? The attack speed might feel a bit redundant at times (especially if you claim you can get to 2.5s without any added attack speed, iirc you saying so). But I feel it's atleast a candidate worth considering. I tried it in one game only so far, but I got 19/9/4 or something along the same lines. Arguably, I got the rageblade fairly late and thusly could not properly test it. But your thoughts on it would still be nice to hear. Nonetheless, I will continue trying it out to see if it shifts effectiveness in any direction.
Ye map was a bit meh, but heck, I don't think most players will need it, it's easier to see & try in-game anyways. Maybe just remove it again...
A nice movie might be the cream on the cake, but meh, I don't think it's necessary, if you have problems don't strain yourself. This is already a very nice guide, and what players come back for will mainly be all the information. A movie might be watched once or not at all, with questionable results.
Hope to maybe see a few more great guides like this one from you in the future.
