I have mained kennne for some time and achieved m4, which isnt high, but i still think i learned a lot and can play kennen really well.

Im a toplane Main and currently in Bronze. BUT my MMR is weird and im pretty sure im geting silver or even higher season 11. I dont play much ranked. If I´d play more ranked, i could have been in silver by now. Sorry for my bad english btw, im german but i want to make the guide in english in order for more people to understand it and to learn from it. I main fiora. I have a lot knowledge about the game for my rank, even though I dont always use it. Thats one of my problems in most games, that i am not really able to utilize everything i know about that game.

Kennen is one of the few AP toplaner (Malphite, Akali, Gragas, Teemo, Gwen,(Kayle), Mordekaiser, Singed, Sylas) and one of the few ranged toplaner (Vayne, Quinn, Teemo, Kayle, Urgot, Jayce). Since he is Ap, he is good against Armor building tanks like Sion and being ranged makes him effective against for example fiora and other fighter/assasins.

In laning you will look to poke your enemy and zone him from your wave after you let him push early. Try to keep the wave on your side of the map, because kennen is really good in a 2v1 with his jgl. But if you want to push you can do that too, since he can escape ganks really easy with his e going trough the bushes in lane. To cs you will look to mark your enemies with your e and then w to kill the ranged minions and then kill the melee minions with auto attacks. Earlier in the game this isnt that effective because you dont have enough dmg, so you should start doing this with 1 item and level 9 (maxed w). In lane, Ult EVERY ALL IN. if your enemy has 400hp left, e ult flash w and he is dead, but ULT. And after a bit of training you will be able to 1v2 if you get ganked as well. Its hard to explain, you just have to get the hang of it. Abuse your e´s movement speed and the bushes, divide the top and jgl, and then stun 1 of them, deal dmg, and finish him off with your ult. Why ult not instant? if the other one comes (top or jgl), your screwed without your ult. SO dont use it too early. and if you cant deal enough dmg, dont fight them at all. You will get the hang of it after some time.

Since you are AP, you dont deal much dmg to towers so splitpushing isnt what you want to do. YOu are a teamfight champion with insane AOE dmg and AOE CC. You can go all in with e-ult, stun 5 people and get an easy ace with your team. SIKE, you think! This is a dream scenario that CAN happen, but is very unlikely. In most teamfights you wil be getting 3 people stunned at max and your team cant always clean up the stunned and damaged opponents. If you have rabadons early, you deal a lot of dmg and stun so teamfights will most likely be won. You should focus on deleting your opponents backline. YOu dont have to kill them, just take them out of the fight. and try and stun your opponents frontline too. Also, use your ult when you get a pick on 2 people, but not on 1 person, except this player has a high bounty. YOur Ult has a high cooldown and is most likely your teams best engage and teamfight tool, so dont waste it.
