Runes

Greater Mark of Insight- Great magic pen(Magic Pen works well against tanks that are stacking magic resist

Greater Seal of Force - Ability at level 18

Greater Glyph of Potency-Straight Ability Power is always great

Greater Quintessence of Potency-MORE ABILITY IS GOOD

Masteries

Went for cooldown reduction in utility as well as improved Flash and Exhaust to track down or escape your choice they both offer offensive or defensive playing styles

Items

Ionian Boots of Lucidity- Fairly New item offers 15%cooldown reduction but if you don't want them you can always go for Sorcerer's Shoes for 20 magic pen

Zhonya's Hourglass-Great if your getting targeted or need to tower dive with ulti and then use flash to escape

Rabadon's Deathcap-155 Ability power Unique Passive 30 percent increase ability power great because more ability power is more ability power thats what kennen needs to inflict pain with burst damage

Rylai's Crystal Scepter-lots of health and some ability power and slowing a runner or slowing someone to get away if you don't want this item you can go with Mejai's Soulstealer but if you cant maintain your stacks with it, it becomes worthless

Will of the Ancients-50 ability power and gives aura to other champions for 30 ability power and 20 spell vamp which is always good

Void Staff-70 ability power and unique passive of 40 magic pen

Summoner Spells

Exhaust-Slows and reduces the champions ability power/attack damage and because of your masteries it reduces there armor and magic resistance and increases the duration by .05secs. I use this for one on one, saving a ally, or escaping

Flash-Instant teleport to where your mouse's location is very short distance but works very well for starting team fights or escaping. I usually use Lighting rush in to all the champions then electrical surge for stun and then Slicing Maelstrom and use Zhonya's Hourglass and use flash to escape if all doesn't go well or if I got to chase someone
