Olaf is a champion i personally use for free elo. This guide will help you improve your olaf plays and teach you some tricks on how to carry as olaf.

This is not a long guide... this is what you need to know. Rest is nonsense
we start with Lane faze:
farm and poke. Q is important try to watch for low hp minions and plan your Q accordingly for example: your minion is low hp so the enemy top laner will go in to farm it. so throw your Q in that direction. you can use Q to farm if enemy is too offensive but no one should push you back if you poke correctly.

avoid being ganked.
as olaf you will be playing offensive in the start so a good enemy jungler will go for the gank early.
ward and throw Q if the jungler comes to slow him off

Getting the first kill
i normally have a kill by lvl 4 or 5 sometimes lvl 3
the key is the poke and your passive:
when you are 50% hp the enemy thinks he can go for the kill but he forgets that you get 50% increase in attack speed. poke with Q till enemy is 40% hp and just go in
Q W E or if he is close to your tower simply Q E then W and follow with Q till you get E again and finish it off

Pros:
Olaf is very tanky and has high dmg
olaf has amazing mobility and can get out of stuns and snares using his ult
Olaf never loses a 1v1 in top lane.
Cons :
Olaf can be countered by ranged champs who can poke him till he dies.
olaf can easily be forced to use his ult defensively to get out.
olaf is not the best in teamfights rather he is a 1v1 king
