@Albableat- You're completely right. I wrote this guide when I was a level 21, and now that I have been playing ranked games and actually learning how to play with build and runes and items- I would stand by your assessment of this guide. I have actually been meaning to archive it since it is in desperate need of a rework.

Quoted:
...damage off of Distortion is very low as it has only 600 range as opposed to Sigil of Silence with 700.

You forget about Distortion being an AoE ability. Due to this, you can reach targets being hit by Q at max range.
If you cast it at the very end of its range, target at ~700 range will still take damage and sigil of silence mark will proc.

Thus, Q-R-W combo is totally fine to cast at max range. Just do it fast enough :)

Immediate criticism:
  • 6 points in your E, 4 on your W in the cheat-sheet (just a note, fix that not to confuse anyone)
  • Maxing Ethereal Chains... You're never gonna land them in mid against a good opponent. That's one. Also, snare duration is the same at all levels and usually you end up doing only the first portion of the damage.
    Imo, W>E
  • You call Flash useless. For how long have you been playing LeBlanc? And what's your ELO?
  • Prolonged buff duration from Runic Affinity >1 AP from Mental Force . Switch to 21-0-9.
  • Mejai's Soulstealer and no survivability items. Since LeBlanc is a close proximity assassin that has to operate on the border between life and death often in order to be effecient, she should be played with an assumption that you will die occasionally. Therefore, soulstealer isn't a good core item for her. It's still great, but it's far more situational then people tend to think.
  • DFG should not be your first buy. Early game burst is far more then enough to kill people. DFG is her core mid game item. Instead, you should rush Rabadon's Deathcap for some hardcore AP and get magic. pen. boots asap.
  • WoTA is pure **** on LeBlanc. Especially late game WoTA. You aren't supposed to be in the heart of action for a long time anyways, so that sustain goes to waste. Early game it's better, but it forces you to spam for sustain. Which runs you OOM and makes far less effecient.
  • 0 MR with your build. Happy time being one-shot by Primordial Burst.

This kind of LB isn't competitive when it comes to a more or less skilled opponent.
If you're high ELO player, I really wonder what kind of skills you should have to pull off this build and still be successful.
Usually every LeBlanc that plays this way (either with or against me) gets rolled super-hard after early game (just because it's virtually impossible to lose early game as LB)

Please leave me some sort of response, either in changing your build or a constructive comment with defending your position. (If you want my vote, ofc)

Also, do you play on NA?

i play LB a bit different in terms of combo sequence as it all depends on situation. You could explain different skill combination for different situation for e.g.

In some scenarios I actually initiate with Ethereal Chains if I can and then use Distortion to close the gap so that the enemy hero has to run even further before the chain breaks. I finish it off with Sigil of Silence and Mimic reason being the activation of snare on Ethereal Chains will activate the mark on Sigil of Silence. However, this must all be done quickly so that the snare actually activates the mark on Mimic. Also they will be snared earlier and possibly before they get to tower. This is the sequence you would use if you can get a clear shot on Ethereal Chains or at least what I do.

For harassment I would start off with Distortion > Sigil of Silence > Mimic > Distortion back. This is when I know for sure I can't kill my target but want to deal some damage to scare them. Sometimes Distortion isn't really used for damage. More of a positioning skills to land in your Sigil and Mimic combo. This is actually the standard way most LeBlanc go for the kill. Quickly in and quickly out. Do it two times in one lane and they are dead.

The combo Sigil of Silence > Mimic > Distortion > Ethereal Chains isn't always going to work. For one very simple reason, once you land Sigil of Silence, they are going to run back a bit. You maybe be able to land Mimic but chances of getting the damage off of Distortion is very low as it has only 600 range as opposed to Sigil of Silence with 700.

Pls don't get me wrong. Just trying to suggest things for you to add into your guide as no skill combo sequence is set for any hero. It all depends on the situation.

Thanks for the input, I started writing this guide when my summoner level was 21 or so, and now that I'm 27 I have noticed that I have to change my play style drastically to get the kills like I did before. I think I will be retooling large portions of the guides as I keep going. I will need to try out the skill order that you have detailed, but I know that the one I detailed only works sometimes. I really need to flesh out that section alot. Thanks again for the input Trans4M

Thanks for the feedback, I'll need to take some time after I finish finals to clean up the guide. I just wanted to get the basic ideas out there.

I was going to say the same thing.
BBCoding, Pictures and Color can make your guide much more attractive. Check out JhoiJhoi's Guide to making a guide and be sure to credit her if it helps.
I'm come sometime later, to see if it's worth a +1
