Introduction

Welcome Summoner!
LeBlanc is a nuker who can kill mostly everyone within some seconds, well, except tanks.
She can jump away to escape or to follow an enemy, she can bind the enemy or she can just nuke the enemy down.

Pros / Cons

Pro:
+ Insane damage
+ Good escaping
+ Good ganking

Cons:
- Fast gameplay
- Bad pusher/farmer until the late game

Runes

I do prefer flat runes, they are really strong at the start, but getting unimportant later in the game, because the effects are pretty small.

9x
They do give you 8,5 Magic Pen, what is more or less like you would have more AP.

9x
3x

24 AP (8,9 AP Glyphs + 15 AP Quintessences) is a huge amount at the start, they are important, because they are a big part of your nuke-power until you have your Mejai's Soulstealer and your Rod of Ages.
This runes will give you a huge AP burst for the early game and thats exactly what you want.

9xGreater Seal of Replenishment
3,7 mana regen/5 sec. is not very much but it's enough, if you don't waste your skills like they water.

Masteries

Our main attention is on the offense tree, because we want the extra damage and cooldown reduction.
The rest is for the defense tree, some extra health is never bad.

If you are not yet used to play LeBlanc or just dieing to often you can try 9/21/0. You won't get as much kills as with 21/9/0, but at least you wont die so fast. ;)

Summoner Spells

Summoner Spells of choice:

It's a good Spell to finish off your enemies or to make extra damage against some heavy champions with a good life reg.
This spell is not necessary, but very comfortable.

It gives you map control for more kills or just to help your team. It's a good choice on almost every champion and since you don't need a flash or ghost you can spend an extra slot.

Not first choice, but possible alternatives:

Many say that you don't need a Flash with LeBlanc cause Distortion is more than enough.
Well sometimes you are in a situation there you used Distortion and Mimic already but need a Flash. In such a moment it's nice to have a third one, but that doesn't happen often.
So you can use it, but most time it's unused and more like a waste than a help.

I never tried it, but I think it could be a good choice.

Since you have already your Ethereal Chains you don't need another binding spell, but you can use it to slow your enemy so that your cooldowns can run out.

Items

Start with a Doran's Ring, it gives you Health, AP and Mana Reg. just what you need for the beginning. The Boots of Speed] and the [[Catalyst the Protector or Mejai's Soulstealer will come after that, depending on who is dominating on your lane.

Next Item is Sorcerer's Shoes, if you know that you don't need the Magic Pen. you can also take the Ionian Boots of Lucidity.
But I would not recommend this.

Now finish your Rod of Ages and then go for a Rabadon's Deathcap, starting with Needlessly Large Rod. If you are getting killed to often or if you have enough stacks to kill everything you see, you can wait with the Rabadon's Deathcap and buy the Guardian Angel first.
If not get the Guardian Angel now, it will save your stacks, cause you can easily get away with your Distortion
The Armor and Magic Resist will also help us to survive the teamfights.

For the last Slot (sell Doran's Ring) you may choose one of this items:

A good defense item if you have Champions like Karthus in the enemy team or if you just need more Health/Mana/Magic Resist.

A good item to do even more damage, pick Deathfire Grasp only if you use the active, if not there is also Morello's Evil Tome without an active but with better stats.

If there are to many tanks or offtanks who have to much Magic Resist you should buy the Void Staff.

More AP. Yay.

Skills

Her passiv is not much of a help, you may have luck and it will activate right in the moment a attack is incoming.
This is something that could need a buff.

Sigil of Silence
Your main damage spell, always try to trigger the second effect when you harass.
Thanks to the silence you can easily fight against heavy caster like Annie or Kassadin.

Good to trigger Sigil of Silence, to escape or to surprise the enemy. You can also jump through mostly all walls.
This spell is perfect for tower diving, cause you can jump in, throw your Sigil of Silence and Mimic and press E again to come out.
But you have to take care that you don't get silenced or stunned when you do this.

A good spell to catch enemies you cannot kill by yourself, so that you team can get them, you can also use this spell to run away or to catch someone and wait for your Cooldowns to run out.
If you are fast enough you can throw this skill and your Sigil of Silence/ Mimic-combo and the second effect of Ethereal Chains will trigger the second effect of Sigil of Silence/ Mimic.

Just use it like the other spells, but try to save Mimic for a combo with Sigil of Silence.

Skill Sequence

Thanks to her unique Skills, with more than one effect and her Ultimate LeBlanc has many Combos to use!
You will learn all the Combos by playing and I don't think that it's needed to read this Part of the Guide, but for the case you think it will help you I wrote the normal Combos down.

If you want to harass:

Sigil of Silence-> Distortion/ Ethereal Chains
It's also good to see how much damage you can do.

If you want to kill your enemy:

Sigil of Silence -> ( Mimic->) Ethereal Chains -> ( Sigil of Silence ->) Distortion
It would be perfect this way, but normally you will need to use Distortion first get near to your target.

If you want to towerdive:

Distortion -> Sigil of Silence -> Mimic

If you want to escape:

Distortion -> Mimic -> Ethereal Chains

If you want to catch someone:

Distortion -> Ethereal Chains -> Mimic

If you want to farm:

Distortion -> Mimic

Laning Phase

- take the mid lane if you can

- last hit as much as you can

- start hard harassing at level 3

- go ganking, if you dominate your lane

- go with someone who can hold a 2vs1 lane (side lane)

- start with Ethereal Chains and try to get first blood (side lane)
