INTRODUCCITION
WHAT IS LISSANDRA TOP?
Lissandra can be a counter in three different ways:
Lane: You dominate the laning phase, but once it transitions into sidelane, she can struggle quite a bit. Champions in this category include
TF (Teamfight): You don’t have the best laning phase, but you become a very strong counter in teamfights by neutralizing the enemy pick, such as
Absolute: In this category, Lissandra dominates the entire game from the laning phase to sidelane and finally in teamfights becoming a real threat. Champions in this category include

LVL1
When taking bushes, don’t level up any ability immediately. If you face-check and miss your Q
Ice Shard, you’ll be vulnerable, get run down, or be forced to burn
Flash.
Until the first wave arrives, you’re at your weakest. Once the wave arrives, you want to harass the enemy when they last-hit minions using your Q
Ice Shard. Since it extends and passes through, it can cover a lot of ground, making last-hitting very annoying for them.
EARLY LVLS TO FIRST BACK
Upon hitting level 2, you normally take W. This is where you start being a nuisance: poke with Q, and if the enemy tries to trade back, your W prevents it effectively.
One of the keys of
Lissandra its mana management but with
Doran's Ring buff on patch 25.22 this will be a minor problem.
Your duty its to survive and poke till you have enough gold for a efficient back (aroung 800g)
FIRST BACK
Until your first back even with the changes to
Doran's Ring and maintaining consistent poke you’ll notice some mana issues. However, Lissandra compensates for this by having access to very strong early backs.
The ideal first back is
Lost Chapter, which gives mana, ability haste and AP. However it’s slightly expensive for a first recall (1200g).
Cheaper alternatives would be to combine AP with mana picking up a
Sapphire Crystal and an
Amplifying Tome along with
Refillable Potion.
Another option, if you don’t feel the mana strain and prefer to play more aggressively, is to go for a
Blasting Wand, which is your most effective choice for early pressure.
