Hello my name is Quakin a diamond player from EUNE.

I play lux since s2 and I can say she is really usefull champ with a lot of potential.
Some people forgot about lux,but I can say if you give her a chance she will back you up :)

Quints-AP (BEST)

Marks-magic penetration I think they are best marks runes you can get for lux,but if you like to rush early lich bane and poke a lot with basic attack you can take hybrid penetration marks.

Seals-if you play against melee go full HP (72HP) and if you play against someone who can poke you with basic attack go for 5 hp runes and 4 armor runes,or 9 armor runes against yasuo/zed/riven etc.

Glyphs-now this depends against which opponent you are playing,if you play against AD go for ability power flats or ability power per lvl.Flat magic resist against ap is by my oppinion the best.

In notes its explained.Nothing much I can add.
But you can put 9 in defense tree if you play against zed and you want some extra hp+sustain from basic attacks and health regen.

You always want to start with dorans ring and 2 potions,lux is very squishy and dorans give her everything she needs.Next item should be chalice if you play against ap and tear of goddes if you play against ad.There is no universal build for lux,you should base your items on the opponents you play against.If you snowball and have already 2/0/1 in 12th min you should get mejajis soulstealer and play it safe,get some kills and stacks,very usefull item on lux beacause you will throw your shield in middle of teamfight and get some assists,eventually stack it for a fair price good amount of AP.

I explained it in notes,always max E beacause its your main tool for poke and dealing dmg,q should be maxed 2 if you are not behind and if you are not scared of getting bursted,otherwise max W second.

Here is where I want to say a little bit more.Take exhaust if you play against yasuo/riven/zed/syndra/malzahar, champs with huge burst,you will make theyr dmg dealt 40% lower for 2.5 seconds which is veryusefull.I rather take exhaust then heal,and ignite for rest of matchups which I can win preety easy.If you take heal against zed or syndra,they can throw ignite and reduce your healing effect and burst you crazy,but if you take exhaust you can sustain yourself with your shield,and exh will reduce dmg.

Play her safe I repeat dont push lane,poke,roam with ur ult,farm as much as possible and you will have enough burst to carry game and gain some elo with her.

Pros:
Great poke
Great burst dmg on multiple targets
She has slow,two roots(first is 2 seconds,second is 1second root)
Great shield throught whole game
Very usefull in teamfights,picking of targets,roaming

Cons

And the reason why she isnt played more is NO ESCAPE :( !
She is kinda hard to play beacause of current meta,and stronger mids
Lower dmg then strongest APCs atm
Can get behind easy if you camp her
Most of the assasin middlaners counter her

You can easily push your lane with your E and ult later(low cd) waveclear and roam,best suggestion if you play against hard opponent on mid.

I hope you like it,its my first guide so its kinda nah,but I think I gave you good advice how to play her,you just have to practice her and never give up.If you have some questions just add me ingame EUNE Quakin,I will explain it to you,we can even go on custom so I can teach you a little bit Im open for everything :).
