Furthermore, the 6.10 update added Taliyah and had some mage hotfixes.
Please update the guide, update it so that newbies won't get destroyed by Yasuo tryhards anymore. :)
I love this guide, actually I do prefer heal because you already have your W with Lux.
Still a nice guide, keep it up!
Heal and Barrier are more dependent on situation and/or personal preference, IMO, with both having their respective benefits/shortcomings.
Main thing with heal is, you get less raw health, and the healing-an-ally thing doesn't really do anything for you in a solo lane. Against someone who can solo kill you relatively easily (eg, any sort of assassin, really), heal won't do as much for you compared to Barrier, which straight up absorbs more damage. Against a lane that relies on jungle pressure though, the move speed can come in very handy.
First of all thank you for the guide: the time and dedication you have put in this lines has been a great help for me, since I am almost a new LoL player. All the great games i am doing with Lux I almost owe them all to you :)
I also have a question, probably because of my yet poor experience:
When i am not facing strong AD assassins I copy n paste the Athene build path, but when i find myself facing Talon or Zed (which i fear tremendously) I choose to get the Seeker's armguard first, like you advised in your guide. My question is (keep in mind that my cs is not yet that effective, so i might miss some gold compared to the good players): What do I do then? Should I rush the Zonhya asap, or just keep the SA in the inventory (maybe stacking up) and build morello and/or athene? If I am facing Zed i usually always rush the zonhya, just to negate his fearsome ult...But in any other circumstance?
Thank you for your reply and forgive my noobishness :)
Don't worry haha, everyone was a noob at one point or another :P
It's down to personal preference, really. If you're finding yourself heavily reliant on Hourglass's active to survive burst, then you should probably get that first (with maybe an extra Doran's Ring to help with mana regen + add some more health). If you're someone who struggles a bit more with managing your mana supply, keep it at the Armguard and finish the Grail.
Personally, I'd go for the Grail build while keeping the Armguard even against those matchups, simply because the CDR and mana supply helps you far more in the mid-game compared to a Large-rod item rush, in which case you'd basically run out of mana after like 2 spell rotations or something. In that sense, you'd lose out on a lot of mid-game potential because you won't be able to continue abusing her abilities with no mana.
A further build alternative could be getting Ninja Tabis instead of Sorcs or Swifties, just for that extra bit of defense against their burst (If they don't land autos on you they can't kill you anyway)

I've been on Mobafire for a long while, not when you first made this guide. I created the guide "Chronicle of Illumination" and I committed a lot to it, this was around late season 3. I updated it to mid season 5 but after all the changes I couldn't be bothered to update it with all the work I have at the moment. I'm glad you're still here updating this great guide. I think exactly like you do in building and that's why I don't need your guide. But on behalf of the community I'd like to thank you for sticking around for a long time and helping people who don't know how to make sure that the last thing their enemies is their final spark.
Still a nice guide, keep it up!
This guide is amazing, i bought her 1 day ago and my first game was like 15/0/14
She is my main now :)
