Malzahar is an AP damage dealer, who is still a bit tanky. He's fun to play because his
Malefic Visions will stick to any enemy that comes to close to the infected minions. His Nether Grasp places hilarious amounts of damage on the heads of your enemies and fills their hearts with fear, muhahaha! Oh, and his passive is Summon Voidling: he summons minions that follow him, how awfully splendid.Please do leave comments below. Thank you very much!

If you want to play
Malzahar in a safe way, max your Malefic Visions first.For optimal damage always
Malefic Visions > AA in early game. Malz' attack damage is quite ok.If you never played
Malzahar before, I strongly recommend maxing Malefic Visions first because it's easier to hit than Call of the Void (skillshot).| Ability Sequence | |||||||||||||||||

If your experienced (or skilled) enough to land skillshots, max your
Call of the Void first. It will do more damage and silences the enemy champion.His combo is (
Malefic Visions >) Call of the Void > Null Zone > Nether Grasp, so (E >) Q > W > R.Don't forget the kills on minions gained by your E return mana.
Don't use your ult at the start of a team fight (you can't do anything while ulting).

Match-ups

Kassadin A fairly ok match-up. This can be handled. The nerfs got him quite bad. Kassadin's Null Sphere does still do quite some damage early game and gives him a shield. Later on he will probably be building more tanky, so his Q damage should become relatively lower. His ult Riftwalk will make it very easy for him to escape, so use your (E >) Q > W > R combo quickly.

Nidalee She is somewhat hard. Of course always dodge her spears. That Javelin Toss hurts! The healing is another problem. There is a chance you run out of mana before her. If so, you probably die. Don't waste your mana. If she hits 6 stay a little behind because she does a lot of close range damage as cougar. If you deal enough damage to keep her on low health, do it, if not, don't waste your time focusing on that. Eventually your (E >) Q > W > R combo will deal enough damage to finish her off. If you are close enough to land your E do it, but don't let it waste your chance on killing her: it's probable she has flash and her cougar jump is too stronk.

Fizz He is a hard match-up for Malzahar because of his high mobility. Play safe and don't let him hit Playful / Trickster on you. It will hurt and probably resolve in you getting killed. Just land some abilities on him and call for help from your jungler. When Fizz is close, Nether Grasp him and finish him off together before the ult ends.

Ahri She is a hard match-up for Malzahar because of her high mobility. Play safe and don't let her hit Charm on you. It will hurt and probably resolve in you getting killed. Just land some abilities on her and call for help from your jungler. When Ahri is close, Nether Grasp her and finish her off together before the ult ends.
