This is a great build. I came up with my own that was very similar to this. The only change I'd use is boots of mobility. I'll take 5x speed over armor.

I do see the point of the Combatjack1 and lionhrt99 and I also agree. I spent all day playing Malphite. I started out with other guides but this one proved to be the best. I've been playing against MF's and GP's and I have never seen them more scared and useless against Malphite in my life. I did have a lot of fun. I'm at the point where I'm now changing my starting items to cater to my style of playing, but this guide is deff. the foundation. +1 from me. My rune set up is quints(x3) and seals(x9) are resilience, Marks(x9) are Magic Pen. and Glyphs of warding (x9)...Beefy with a sting! Great guide.

I agree with Jack here. Seems to me that you have alot of exess armor early, not enough magic resist. if you plan on having malphite duo bot, you have to be prepared to take some of that magic damage, as you will prob see at least an ocational magic damage running bot. Nice choice of boots, however, i'd put in the alternitive choices, just in case the enemy's ad carry isn't doing well. In fact, you should put in a section for situational items, as currently any good mage or cc would destroy your malph. Overall, tho, this is very nice, and i know from experiance that it works, so lets see you improve it a bit, k?

Not a bad start. Get 9x Greater Mark of Magic Penetration instead of your armor marks because it will make all your spells hit harder throughout the game, whereas you don't need that much armour from runes right off the bat, especially since those marks are secondary anyway.

For your build, I would not recommend getting Thornmail every game because it's very situational, and really only good if they have two or more AD DPS champions, as in Ashe bot and Tryndamere top or something like that. There are just better alternatives to specifically trying to counter one role, especially when they will never be focusing you anyway, only once the rest of your team has died... Grab a Heart of Gold after Ninja Tabi so that you can get the gold/5 component adding up as quickly as possible. Then Glacial Shroud immediately after, and next a Negatron Cloak against magic damage. Then the rest of your build is solid, although Warmog's Armor isn't that necessary on him especially so late, his passive Granite Shield will have more effective healthfrom building resistances anyway, opt for an Abyssal Mask instead for the team debuff since you'll be right in the middle of the fight after Unstoppable Force anyway.
