Hi everyone. This is my first guide, so be gentle :D As u all know Dominion was launced recently. I have played dominion with many heroes, but this one has been the best! This guide of Yi is short... But so is a game of Dominion.

Keeper of the ancient art of Wuju, Master Yi is a mystical warrior from the isle of Ionia. He descended from one of the few tribes dedicated to the preservation of Wuju, a martial art founded with the principles of absolute spiritual awareness of one's self and one's enemy. When the armies of Noxus invaded Ionia, Master Yi joined in the Ionian defense to fight the craven enemy, bringing his village honor through his unparalleled mastery of the blade. The ensuing battles ravaged the land, but no conflict inflicted as much horror as the day the armies of Noxus closed in on Yi's village. Left undefended, the village became the unfortunate test subject of the latest invention by an up-and-coming chemist, now known as Singed. The remains of the village that Master Yi returned to were so horrific that it remains a festering scar on Ionian history. To this day, no Ionian will ever publicly speak of what occurred.

After the Noxian invasion was contained, Master Yi fell into a deep isolation. For years, he trained morning to night, speaking to no one and refusing offers of consolation by fellow Ionians. The only thing stopping him from madly charging into Noxus battle lines headfirst was his pledge to keep the Wuju style alive. Even though he seethed with impatience, his rage became a tool for sharpening his practice of Wuju, developing stronger and deadlier skills for his eventual vengeance. The only thing that roused him was news of the League's formation, and Noxus' subsequent enrollment in the League. Master Yi now brings his mastery of the blade to the League of Legends with unflinching purpose: to avenge his kinfolk and end the predations of the Noxus once and for all.

Some Pros and Cons:

Pros:
-Very high dmg
-High attack speed
-Easy to play

Cons:
-Can be "disabled" with Thornmail
-Fragile

Alpha Strike is good at closing on to enemy champion. It deals good dmg, especially to minions.

Meditate is extremely good at defending capture points. You get 300 MR and armor so champs doesent do that much dmg when Meditate is on. I dont use it really much 'couse i rarely def points.

On my opinion Wuju Style is the most important skill of Yi. At level 5 it will give you 35 passive dmg and when you activate it 70. It is very useful when you kill a enemy champ. If you had Ulti on then you will have 35+70 plus attack dmg. But remember, you shouldnt avtivate it because then passive will go off. But when your ulti goes of, its only good if you activate it ;)

Yi's ulti is awesome. It gives you movement speed and attack speed. It also gives you immunity to slows. And the best thing is, it refreshes all cooldowns whenever you kill an enemy(except summoner spells). It is really important to activate it before you confront enemy champion.

At start you should start capturing points. When you capture one, one or more enemy champions will show up. At this stage of game you can kill anyone with good allies. You will rarely be alone. As the game proceeds, the Storm Shield buff will come up. It is good to pick it up.

At mid game you can keep owning people and capture point. At this point you should be careful with tanks, escpecially with Thornmail. If you have good enemies they will buy one. But if you can, kill all else first. Yi can be killed fast, if enemies focus you. He is very fragile to any kind of disables. But if you have allies with u, it is easy to escape(unless if they have killed you). In mid game it is good to consider buying some health items like Entropy.

Late game it is important to have atleast three points under ure teams control. U can help by killing enemy champs and trying to atleast neutralize points. But Dominion is much about team playing. If u have horrible team u will lose. U can help winning but u cant win alone.

There is some really easy to kill champions... And not so easy.

One you should really watch out for is: Rammus

Rammus is the only champ you cant win(depending on the player). He is extremely dangerous because of his skills.

Puncturing Taunt

When he has Thornmail this will be your doom. You will eventually kill yourself.




It is easy to kill any kind of carry, caster or supporter. Some tanks are easy too(if they dont have Thornmail).

Notice!!! You cant win alone XD. But you can try!





Go there and GO LEGENDARY with Yi ;) Dominion is done for Yi. I wish you all happy kills and won games!
