Okay well this is a nice easy build for Master Yi but I also use the same, if not very similar, build for Jax, Evelynn and Pantheon. It is not perfect, but with the limited amount of Influence Points I had to set up my builds I found that this averaged out nicely when I built on a budget.

I also have to credit my girlfriend for most of this build, while it may not be the one she uses, she set me up on this build and she's a crucial structure of it.

I chose runes that would even out over a few characters because this made it easier for me if my character was taken at character selection. I use mainly characters that are melee and that need armour penetration, critical damage and dodge so this worked out well for me, and my style of play.

My mastery points are mostly placed in the offensive tree. This is because the majority of the time I am not a very defensive player, I prefer to jump in and hit hard. But I did put enough points in the defensive tree just so that I get the nimbleness speed boost.

To start off I will buy the basic boots of speed and 3 health pots, however this could be changed to be 2 health pots and 1 mana pot, but I find I don't run low on mana this early in the game, my girlfriend on the other hand uses the 2 health pots and the one mana pot as she harasses quite alot and runs out of mana early.

When you've gained enough gold to get the Berserker's Greaves, I suggest buying them, as it gives you the movement speed and the attack speed early enough in the game, to get in an attack and get out.

After that, I build the Stark's Fervor. This is for the aura of 20% lifesteal and the decreased percentage for the enemy's armour.

Then I buy a B.F. sword but I go to buy my first Phantom Dancer. The B.F sword is bought for the damage straight up to accompany the attack speed gained by a Phantom Dancer. So at this stage you will be moving faster, hitting harder and more often. The Phantom Dancer also works hand in hand with Yi's passive of double hitting on the 7th strike.

Then I build my B.F. sword into a Black Cleaver for it's armour penetration and damage. With the fast attacks, the 3 stacks will be on in few seconds and show time begins for Yi to demolish his foe.

Then build another Phantom Dancer for more increased speed, which makes that 7th attack come around so much quicker.

Lastly, add an Infinity Edge to obtain 250% damage from a critical strike, and the more damage.

- Youmuu's Ghostblade
- Mordred's Bloodrazor *if the team is heavily made up of tanks, this item is amazing!*

Starting off with Wuju style for the increased attack damage right off the bat. Then followed by Alpha Strike. I level both these up one after the other, so both max out around the same time. This is the way my build goes.

Exhaust. This we use to slow our foe, reduce his/her armour and magic resistance. It can really give the upper hand in a 1v1 fight.

Flash. I use flash because I am a tower diver and to make sure I come out alive, I use flash to get away from the turrets. I also use flash as an escape route over walls and as a chasing mechanism.

OPTIONAL:
- Ignite: Just to get that extra little bit of damage on a target while they're retreating, or to potentially grab a kill steal.

I just want to put something in about how the items are really expensive, so for this you need to get pretty good at using alpha strike on a last hit to get the minion gold.

Also, I would like to say that this build may not suit everybody but I'd just like to put my opinion out there, that to be the best player, do what suits you, not necessarily what a build says.
