Ghost is not good on yi. When he has highlander activated, he already is really fast and cannot be slowed. An even larger speedboost is therefore wasted, and highlander does not have a very long cd(75sec). The only thing that would prevent yi from getting away with highlander is hard cc, ghost does not counter this either. Get flash or cleanse instead for defensive options, or exhaust for some cc during ganks.

Triforce is for characters who make a lot of use of their relatively spammable abilities. Yi is not such a character, he has 10s+ cd on everything. You would only get one triforce damage proc off in a fight, meaning a bloodthirster or infinity edge would be much better damage options.

Ghostblade is only a good item if your champion can make good use of the active. Yi already has his highlander for such moments though, which gives 40% movement speed and cannot be slowed effect, therefore the 20% speed boost from ghostblade is not needed and goes to waste, since you can keep up with everyone already. Highlander also gives a 80% attack speed boost, and with such a high boost the temporary 50% boost becomes less effective than replacing it with a damage item.
Get an item that gives these boosts all the time instead, so yi can jungle and backdoor much better, and still be effective in fights, like a phantom dancer.


You get guardian angel as last item. Considering you claim this is a "tanky" build, that's waaay too late. On top of that there's only mercury threads and a wriggles as other defensive items. You're basically just as squishy as ad yi who builds a ga as last item, which is quite common.

You get 9/21 masteries on yi, that's just a waste. Yi is all about being offensive and snowballing, tank yi has no cc and won't land any kills. If you want to be tanky just build a warmogs with your ga and you're done. In the jungle you won't have to worry about dieing early anyways, and defensive masteries don't help you that much lategame, instead take offensive ones for faster clearing and better ganks.

Your English is almost as bad as your guide.

Seriously, your guide is outclassed by most other yi guides on mobafire. It has a strange build, no explanation, bad grammar and is really short. Don't bother writing a guide if you know it's nowhere near as good as the others in the first place, make something that is as useful as the other guides, and with info that other guides do not provide.

Can only downvote this, next time take more than 30min to write your "guide".

LOL i always use triforce yi on solo top lane ~ and now i tried ur triforce yi jungle ~ has the same effect and it is very op. slow + sheen passive. sigh..everybody said triforce yi suck. :(
