In what situation should I build stride breaker and blade of the ruined king?

Hey, a couple questions:
1) on 11.3 both goredrinker and sterak's will be nerfed, will the build change singnificantly?
2) could you comment on the pantheon match up? either i am blind as a bat or i didn't find it in your matchup guide.

Awesome work, thanks a lot for sharing!

Sorry for the late reply, I've been playing a bunch and have come to some conclusions that I'll be adding in the latest update to this guide. Long story short, the build is still OP with some changes.

Hey, its me again Came around to say that this build is more than insane in teamfights with the sh*t tons of sheilds i get from my W and sterak made me 1v5 and survive it all, Now i had a few questions,
In those matches that go for really long does sett fall off? Is his scale great or is he only an early to mid game champ?

His 1 v 1 early on is great and then his late game 5v5 is imo better. His strengths change as the game goes on, which a lot of enemies don't understand until it's too late. Sometimes you can trick people that have already outscaled you into thinking you're still stronger. For example, Jax beats you after his first item but if you've traumatized him enough he won't try to kill you.

My brother, thank you for this amazing piece of knowledge! Went ahead and gave it a try. That fed enemy Yi was so full of himself, he didn't see it coming :D

It feels extremely nice to be the old nuke-W Sett again. Especially in our lower elo, it definitely helps to be an asset in team fights, since everybody basically fights 24/7. I'd be interested to know a bit more about your playstyle. Is splitpushing viable on this Sett? Would you keep it at shoving the sidelanes into the enemy turret, or would you go full splitpush and prioritize towers at times? He does feel a bit too slow for this. Another concern would be that this teamfight-heavy style would force me to stay with my team mates, which means low cs/gold/exp. Any advice on how to properly play out Sett's champ identity?

I rarely prioritize towers unless it's early game. I focus really hard on dueling early game as well as csing as much as possible. Splitpushing is possible but far from ideal since you'll never win the 1v1 when your build is designed to 1v5 (sounds weird ik). What I do to keep from falling behind is to insta clear waves with e, w, gore and then I roam/ help the team. For example, if drake is coming up, you slow push and then head to drake/reset to lose as little as possible. When there's no objective up, plan around how you'll play as the next objective spawns.

That sounds interesting. Been splitpushing non-stop with bork and trinity, but this will be completely different :D

Looking forward to seeing you on twitch/youtube in the future!

Hello, I love the guide and the style of it, Wanted to know why do you take The Unflinching in your runes and not overgrowth or revatalize to up your W shield

wff010 | January 17, 2021 5:53pm
Good question! The items you buy already give you enough tank stats. I don't take revitalize because it's rare for people to actually destroy your whole w shield. Tenacity and slow resist on the other hand are stats you can only get from boots or your runes. Being able to press your W in the first place instead of increasing the shield by like 50hp means much more to me.

Very in depth and followable but funny at the same time. great guide :)
side note: im not going to argue with the master player since I'm bronze but I typically take domination ravenous hunter secondary because I often get around 1000 healing from second wind compared to 3000 healing from ravenous at the end of the game. Do you think I'm inting or would domination second still be good?

Ravenous seems interesting, but I'm more into the better lane sustain that second wind/bone plating give along with the tenacity + slow resist from unflinching which gives you the chance to use your incredibly important few moves.
