Welcome to my Jhin guide! I'm currently a Jhin main, since he's my favorite champion!

Why is Jhin my favorite champion? Because his play style is so rewarding. When you begin to understand the way Jhin's mobility works, and the gaps he has in between his autos, you'll begin demolishing people with crits.

Jhin's passive is a very important piece to how he works. His crits provide him with a brief movement speed that is key to his mobility. He is also unable to increase his attack speed by purchasing attack speed items. Attack speed is instead converted to bonus attack damage.

Jhin is able to auto attack 4 times before he is required to "reload" his weapon. While reloading, Jhin is unable to auto attack. He can, however, use his other abilities even if his auto attacks are unavailable. The 4th auto attack by Jhin is a guaranteed crit.

When farming, there are some things to be wary of, since Jhin is quite different at farming than other champions.


1. Jhin can only auto attack 4 times before he needs to reload. His final 4th shot is a guaranteed crit. Personally, I like to count in my head my shots so I know when I'm coming up on my final blow. You can use this final blow to lower cannon minions or minions at full health, and prepare yourself for farming once you finish your reloading.

2. Jhins Dancing Grenade ability is key to farming and poking at low levels. The ability bounces of 4 enemies, damaging each. If the Dancing Grenade ability does the final blow on any enemies, it increased the damage for the next bounce. This is what makes it great for poking and farming. (Note: you can use dancing grenade when you're out of ammo and in between auto attacks, since it doesn't count as an auto attack.)

3. Jhins attack speed can't be altered by buying attack speed items. Attack speed is instead converted to damage by his passive. Keep this in mind when you're farming, that there will be large gaps in between your auto attacks.
