The new items of season 11 allow you to build almost any AP champion with Moonstone Renewer, this means that you can play a lot more champions as support. There are many reasons to pick Teemo on support. You could be bored, or you just straight-up hate people. Either way, this guide is here for you insane people. Before we get into it. Prepare for the flame that is gonna come your way (there is no way in hell people aren't gonna flame you).

Pros

- You provide your lane with a lot of poke.
- Moonstone Renewer gives your team a lot of healing in team fights.
- Your Noxious Trap gives you more map control, which is great as a support.

Cons

- Teemo is very squishy making him an easy target for the enemies.
- His Noxious Trap can be easily countered by purchasing Control Ward and Oracle Lens.
- Teemo can run out of mana in lane very quickly due to his Blinding Dart and Noxious Trap manacost.

Blinding Dart

Blinding Dart allows you to get great poke in the lane. It is good to max this ability first because of the damage output in the early game, the blind duration of this ability also increases as you level it up. Use is to blind the enemy ADC in longer trades to temporarily decrease their damage output drastically. By poking the enemy ADC with the ability you can also make getting CS harder for them.

Move Quick

Your W enables you to get to lane quick, as well as making you a great roaming support. This ability is also great for running away from or chasing after enemies.

Toxic Shot

This is yet another great ability for poking down the enemies. There isn't really much else to it.

Noxious Trap

Your ultimate is great for getting map control. You can put it in brushes against supports that benefit from staying in them (e.g. Janna, Pyke, and most hook supports). Put your mushrooms in the river during the landing phase to make ganking your lane tougher for the enemy jungler by giving you time to react and/or escape. Make sure to put your Noxious Trap in critical choke points, brushes and in front of objectives to gain info and some poke on the enemy team. This ability can also be used while in combat, try kiting the enemies by throwing mushrooms in front of them.
