This is my first build... this is how I build Mundo, if you dont like it, go read someone else's build, or make ur own!? i tested all of the things i describe in this build, and it worked fine for me, so dont hate...

with all that being said, lets get to it :-)

I pick flat Armor and Magic resist runes, because it gives me a huge advantage early game and it really helps, lategame too. you can exchange some of them with armor/magic resist per level, and health regain per second/5 second too.

I ofc, max defense because it is very needed to become a succesful tank, and it gives a few likeable bonuses ( less damage from minions etc. ) i also take a few points in Utillity, because it gives more health regeneration, which is awsome for mundo :-) then i use the rest of my skill points in offense

for items i take [*] Dorans Shield at first because it gives a little armor and health, plus it gives a nice little boost to your health regeneration. you will have very high damage output in early game, so gettig a [*] Giants Belt and afterwards a Warmogs Armor usually wont be a problem, First a Giants Belt and afterwards upgrading into a warmog's will give you a HUGE advantage in health and health regeneration. Shoes, bought a little late, i take mercury's Treads, as it gives me magic resist. [*] Aegis of the legion , wont be a problem either, i take it because it gives a slight health boost, and adds a little to my armor and magic resist. Guardian angel... can be exchanged with Sunfire Cape or Force of nature depending on the teams. guardian angel gives armor, magic resist, and it ressurects you after you are death, which makes you almost invinsible if you got your ult ready. [*] Spirit Visage is 95 % a MUST HAVE , its stats aint unusually good though, but its passive helps you alot, enhancing your ulti and the self heal from [*] Infected Cleaver by 15% Last up i take [*] Atmas Impaler, because it gives a little boost to armor, and because, at this point you will have 3.8 - 4.2 thousand hp, so that will make ALOT more attack damage.

For summoner spells i pick Flash and Exhaust

They are both very good for chasing down people if your Infected Cleaver misses or gets cleansed
and vice verca, they are very good for ESCAPING too. if your infected cleaver misses or the enemy uses ghost.
and, then i,m just a huge fan of flash, i love tricking people with i :-) you can choose ghost instead.

Pros:
Mundo are one of ( my opinion ) best tanks, with he's ulti he almost cant die
you will deal HUGE damage on other tanks with [*] Infected Cleaver '
got a great harass game with [*] Infected cleaver in early game
with your ulti you can tank turrets at a very low level
you got some of the most AWSOME quotes ingame " MUNDO... SMASH"

Cons:
you are a tank, not a damage/dps do not pretend to be one,
after using infected cleaver, and if your ulti on cooldown, you dont stand a chance
you WILL be focusedm, i defitnely do
