Pantheon is very mana hungry early game so i normally buy the sapphire crystal as a starter, this means i can poke with my spear shot alot more. the spear shot is very fun to poke with as it does alot of damage all through the game, just poke alot with the spear shot and you will be on your way to winning your lane

i will usually do a combo if i have a full mana, as it is a good way to retrieve alot of health but takes alot of mana, so this is the order i do my combo; spear shot, aegis of zeonia, heartseeking strike, spear shot. then if they start to retreat then chase and spearshot untill you reach the turret. this is a great combo
