Champion Build Guide
intro

Hi fellas, im a random high elo sett player named tiny who usually peaks GM but stays mostly in masters, i thought i'd drop some of my thoughts and knowledge in hopes that it helps you guys out.
Feel free to change items and runes around to your liking or if you disagree with what i run, this is a quick guide and not really new player friendly if you don't really understand sett (he's pretty easy to learn and play though so i know you can master him :D)
*THIS ISNT A FULL GUIDE NO IN DEPTH MATCH UPS SOS*
quick thoughts on sett this season
Sett feels very strong right now, due to the feats and new objective along with the roses and boots upgrade. Setts early is pretty good so its not surprise he's loving all the feat requirements such as first to 3 kills, fighting for early objectives and smacking the enemy tower, sett excels at all of these.
then in the mid game where he usually struggles, its midigated now that the petals give not only FREE exp but also AD which is something we lost during the item nerfs.
and with the ability to get upgraded swift boots it just sorta removes or at least reduces one of his weaknesses which is that he's just very slow

stages of the game (early)
early game you want to be looking to beat your laner into the ground if possible, match up really matters as you dont want to risk dying to something like a riven or darius level 1 when your level 2 is stronger. Once you have a lead, maintain it via freezing or tower diving your laner so they lose more exp and gold, try to have prior when the void grubs are up so you can help your jg secure them.
If you're weaksided then just continue to threaten a kill against your laner as it pulls enemy jg away from your team and hopefully they get something on the other side of the map or look to counter gank for you.
If you are losing lane then unfortunately there's not much to do aside from protecting your tower from falling first and trying to avoid dying too much so that doesnt happen.

MID GAME
If you have gotten yourself a lead then continue to push for the t2 tower, depending on who you won against it might be best to also look to continue tower diving them though becareful before you do this as you con't want to throw your lead by dying and getting nothing out of it.
If any objective is up then look to either rotate from base or rotate down from your lane to secure the dragon or rift or whatever is up, PLEASE LOOK AT YOUR TEAM BEFORE MOVING THOUGH if they are weak/low/no sums/ then it might be better to take the time and beat your laner up some more in hopes you can drag a couple enemies to the side lane.
once you've taken out the t2 tower ask or force your teammates outside of the bottom lane so you can start working towards that t2 tower as well.
If you're getting cooked then just look to hold your laner but also get ready to rotate and match them as setts still pretty decent in teamfights if you can get good E or R value, make sure to build Steraks 2nd in this case as you want to try and just be a meatwall for your team.
if you manage to come back into the game then look for t2 towers if you can fight your laner, otherwise catch waves and try to sit between jg/river so you can either rotate to help with fights or continue to block your laner from taking the t2 towers.

LATE GAME
If you made it this far you must know that your flash is the most crucial part of this stage of the game, a good engage can easily win a teamfight or a good flash W or Flash E/Flash R is enough to flip a fight, dont stay in the side lane for too long as you want to try and teamfight since setts W has the tendacy to delete the health bars of enemy champs which your team can easily follow up on and secure the kills
make sure to have sweepers if you haven't picked it up in the mid game as vision control is everything late game.
