Hello, my name is Thomas. My summoner name is "hi im kirby", and today i would like to share with you my Lissandra guide. Lissandra has been one of my main champions for a long time and i think she is great with her poke, all in potential, and great teamfight even if she is behind. Here is my guide.

Lissandra is a poking/all in AP mage that can go mid/top and i have even seen her support. She is so good in teamfights with her ultimate, and i think she is definitely one of the top 5 best soloqueue champ this season. Here i will try to explain pros and cons and how to play Lissandra.

Pros:

Good poke and Harass
Hard to engage on
Hard to kill in lane
Amazing teamfights
SO MUCH CC
Farming is easy

Cons:

Escape can be interrupted
Very large mana costs at early stages
Has a lot of counters
Item dependent

I take Magic Pen reds because Lissandra has some lackluster early game damage if they get any MR. And i feel these scale better into the late game.

I take armor yellows because armor is mostly good for everything and is a great defense in general. You could switch these for Magic Resist if versus Kassidin or Syndra.

I take Cooldown Reduction blues for that early game spamming ability.

I take flat AP quints just so you have a large edge in the early game.

21/9/0 are the best masteries to go in my opinion, with cooldown reduction and extra damage. You could go 21/0/9 as well for the mana regen if you are against a lane you need to sustain, but its mostly preference.

Item explanations above.

I always max Q, i dont see anyone maxing anything else. I could see maxing W work if you are versus a lane that is "up in your face" often, such as Talon, Kassadin, or Zed.

Lissandra is really good in teamfights even if she is behind because she can always do something. The standard thing to do in teamfights with lissandra is to Glacial Path or Flash in the middle of their team, Use W quickly to stun the team, and then self ult herself. Even if she dies, she as effectively half healthed their team and probably won the fight for your team. Dont bother using your Q, it has a long cast animation and you may be able to be killed before getting off your ultimate.

Farming with Lissandra is pretty hard early due to her low AD, but later on, you can walk inbetween the casters and melee minions, cast W, use Q on the melee's, and then use another Q on casters and clear the wave.
