Introduction

Hello LoL Players! This is my build guide of how I recommend you to play nocturneand what things you should get! Also, I have this skin for nocturne, you should get it it's so cool!

First this so that you know what this means:

AA = Auto-attack (Basic Attacks)
CC = Crowd Control (Stun, fear, slow, snare, etc)
FB = First Blood
AP = Ability Power
AD = Attack Damage
MD = Magic Damage
AS = Attack Speed
MS = Movement Speed
MR = Magic Resistance
ArPen = Armor Penetration
MPen = Magic Penetration
LS = Life Steal
SV = Spell Vamp
DPS = Damage per seconds aka Damage
MDPS = Strong spells; casters
CDR = Cooldown Reduction
OOM = Out of Mana
MP = Mana
HP = Health
MP Regen = Mana Regeneration per 5 seconds
HP Regen = Health Regeneration per 5 seconds

LORE

Before Nocturne, people believed that dreams were figments of their imagination, meaningless images that flashed through the mind when one slept. This belief was put to the test when a rash of sleep-related incidents started afflicting summoners of the League. Some would wake up screaming, terrified and beyond consolation. Some could not fall asleep, slowly going mad as the nights ticked by. Some simply never woke up. Physicians were baffled until a Field Architect happened to pass out next to a nexus on Twisted Treeline. Witnesses said he cried out once and then stopped breathing. Immediately after, magical energy arced out from the nexus, and Nocturne appeared.

Nocturne did not take his introduction to this world kindly. He slaughtered everything he could find before summoners were able to magically confine him. After a period of intense study, League experts divined that Nocturne hunted summoners in their sleep, attacking them in a place where their magic was useless. This seemed to be his only purpose. The families of the victims demanded justice, but League officials were concerned that death might only return Nocturne to the place from which he came. They bound him to a nexus fragment, trapping him in the physical world. As punishment for his crimes, they allowed summoners to call upon Nocturne in the League matches, bending his will to the summoners he hates and creating his own personal nightmare. League scholars don't know whether he truly came from the plane of dreams, or whether there are any more like him. Some theorize that the summoning act affected summoners' subconscious minds, luring Nocturne to them in their sleep. Perhaps the most disturbing theory is that Nocturne is a person's nightmare come to life. If this is true, they wonder, who is the dreamer?

DPS Build:
First of all, I recommend you to play Nocturne twice before using this build because it's not so easy to get the money for all these items, but if you farm hard the first minutes and get some kills these build is easy to buy.

Jungle Build:
Well, this jungle build is very effective and let's your teammate in solo lane level up like the guy in mid and if you do this jungle fast you will also be high level in early game.

I hope this build works for you and have fun in the game with it! :)!

Pros:

- Massive DPS
- Good Jungling ability
- Very good killing Machine
- Good surviver

Conse:

- You don't want to get target
- You don't want a Mana depended hero
- You don't have so much IP

Nocturne Champion Spotlight

Here is a Nocturne Spotlight not made so it doesn't use the same items I put in the build but It will let you understand how the abilities are used.

Skill Sequence

I try to put all my points to this skill first because it gives you some nice Damage and movement so that you can chase down your enemies.

I try to get this ability not in the first level because in early game you dont chase or attack enemies too much so I get it for late game to strike enemies hard. I you are going to jungle this skill combines perfectly with because it lets you get the passive faster and gives you some nice starting AS.

I try to get this ability not too much but you always need it because it can fear enemies and that gives you the oportunity to attack them as much as possible.

You must get this when you can because you need it for gank and to last hit enemy Champions in every moment of the game. It can also be used to escape from enemies because they cant see anyone so they get scared and run.

Runes

Greater Mark of Desolation I recommend this rune cause it's very good when fighting tanky enemy champions because it gives you some nice Armor Penetration.

I use this rune because Nocturne is a mainly Attack Speed champion. If you jungle is a very good one because it gives you a nice defence boost for the start.

This rune is useful because it gives you some important Attack Speed.

Greater Quintessence of Desolation This is so good combined with the Mark of Desolation because gives you some nice armor penetration for all the game!

Summoner Spells

This spell is completely recommended because it lets you chase down your enemies and if you use your you will get fast to your enemies and slow them!

If this spell is combined with and with you get fast to your enemy and you can chase him down for some seconds. It can also be use to escape from enemies.

You will need this spell if you want to go jungle.

You can also use:

It works very good if you want to kill an enemy with less than 200 HP.

It's very useful if you escape from a teamfight and recalled, then you use it and you are back again to finish enemies!

I dont recommend: because it is useless in late game or this leave it for the Mage or support.

Creeping / Jungling

The next image shows the order in which you have to jungle:
Step 1: Start with the blue golem, it's difficult to do it alone so ask someone to help you a bit, dont start attacking the golem until you see every single enemy champion in lanes (unless the have a jungler), use when the golem is below 500 HP.

Step 2: After you killed golem go to the wolves, focus big wolf.

Step 3: Go to the wraiths, focus the blue one and then kill the others

Step 4: Go to the 2 golem camp, kill them and then go to buy

Step 5: After you bought what you needed go to the Red lizard buff and kill it with when it is below 500 HP.

You can repeat this steps in the enemy forest but remember, you must try to gank when you can.
If you need to use Potions during this jungle use the ones you bought.

Items

These are very useful because they give you movement and Attack Speed.

It works very good because it gives you some health and mana that you need when you fight and also blocks a spell every 30 seconds.

You need these item to get some huge damage and lifesteal.

This item is expensive but it gives you tons of Damage and some Crit. Chance and it's passive makes you the killing machine.

This item is something you must always have because it gives you Tons of Attack Speed, Crit. Chance and Movement Speed you will always need.

Wriggles's Lantern I use this item always for jungle and sometimes for lane because it gives you some Attack Damage, armor and Life Steal. It's passive is perfect for jungle and it's active is like a free ward every 3 minutes.

Gank Enemies

To get the Gold you need to complete this build you need to get as many kills as possible. To do this you must gank as soon as you are level 6.

If you are going jungle you will make a nice amount of gold in the first minutes of the game but you must always try to gank as soon as you are level 6.

Try always to go for a target with not too much HP.
Step 1: Use to blind your target and confuse him, then use it again and click your target to get to him fast.

Step 2: In the same second you use and get to your target use in the direction of your target, then use in your target and try to chase him so that fears it and then start Attacking that unit with Basic Attacks.

If this works you should get some nice gold to complete this build.

Summary

You should start farming or jungling in early game till you get to level 6, after that you must try to gank constantly to get some easy kills and money.

Nocturne Jungle= Good ganking because they never know when you are going to appear

Nocturne Lane= Excellent farming and Gold.

If you are farmed, jungled and fed you should complete this build in late game and kill every single enemy that stands in you path.

I hope you liked this build, have fun using it!
