I agree starki113r that going Trinity Force makes you not that tanky, so unless your team is all squishy champs like we have a Zed top or any non-bruiser champion then I recommend going with build number 2 making you the tank allowing better team-fights.

Forgot to add that information thank you for the input/comment.

Not a bad build.

I'm not going to decry your Trinity Force - God knows I've seen Ninjaken dominate Challenger with it - but my only issue is this build makes Nocturne really, really squishy. I would recommend you make an addendum stating to make sure your team has a proper tank if you plan on using this build, otherwise your team will lose late game teamfights.

In response to pepsiM4A1's comment on taking greater quintessence of movement speed, they are really not necessary for Nocturne due to the movement speed steroid from Duskbringer. It's better to run attack damage quintessence b/c you will hit harder during ganks and b/c no enemy will have higher speed than you with the movement speed buff.

True I find that Trinity Force is quite an expensive item however I'm trying to get people to take a leap of faith and see how strong Nocturne is with Trinity Force. My Nocturne usually gets a lot of kills and assists giving me the opportunity to get it. If you are not that great with Nocturne, then I recommend the second build which revolves around Spirit of the Ancient Golem and Aegis of the Legion.

I find Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed superior because of the early movement speed you have HELPING you even more with your ganks. I run them on most of my junglers and you have quite some expensive items(reffering to Trinity Force) because mostly as a jungler you need to feed your lanes unless you are selfish like me and take all the kills(4/0 J4 with 0 assists), however don't get me wrong, I find offensive items somehow core on Nocturne because jumping the carry will be nothing if you don't have offensive items.

In response to Embracing's question about getting razors over spirit stone, I find that having the extra regen is more efficient than having armor due to the fact that your early ganks will range from 150-200 mana if you use duskbringer, shroud of darkness, and unspeakable horror.

It's more of a personal preference however, if their entire teamcomp is ad, then it's a decent item to get.

Also in reponse to rushing a trinity, a trinity force vastly increases your damage output in skirmishes and ganks but decreases your overall tankiness making you susceptible to dying in teamfights. I usually do exceptionally well early-mid game before major teamfights occur, thus I already have a trinity force and a randuins omen making me a threat to their carries while being relatively tanky. Also as stated in the guide, due to the fact that trinity force gives you movement speed, and the rage passive, I find that ganking is relatively easy with it.

Saw Ninjaken do this once :/ His q's were hitting like a truck but trinity is really expensive. I don't know where you're going to get the gold without a lot of successful ganks.

Why don't you get razors if you're rushing your core items?

And I really question rushing an expensive item such as trinity...
