So my name is Filipe and I'm a Nocturne one trick, my main account at the moment is at Plat 2, I started in B2 this season so not too bad. Although I am aiming for Diamond 3 plus this season.

This guide isn't completely finished yet as I will be working on it more adding more pictures and videos to properly explain Nocturne. But for the moment I have added the best Nocturne build at the moment.

Marks

9 x Marks Of Attack Speed - These runes are used as they synergise the best with this Nocturne build as well as providing you with a better early game jungle clear.


Seals

9 x Seals of Scaling Armour - The reason as to why I take Scaling Armour Seals over Flat Armour Seals is that Nocturne isn't an early game dueler. This means that Flat Armour Seals would be irrelevant on him as you wouldn't make use of their power spike which is early game.


Glyphs

6 x Glyphs of Cooldown Reduction
3 x Glyphs of Scaling Cooldown Reduction - The best Glyphs for Nocturne are Cooldown Reduction ones, as this particular build doesn't have many Cooldown Reduction items in it. So the runes really help reach the 30 - 40% CDR (Cooldown Reduction) mark which is essential on Nocturne as to allow him to make the most use of his ultimate.


Quintessences

3 x Quintessences of Attack Speed - Much like the Attack Speed Marks these runes synergise the best with this Nocturne build as well as providing you with a better early game jungle clear.

Many of you will be wondering as to why I didn't go 12-18-0 with Thunderlord's as the keystone. Well for this particular nocturne build were going for a dualist Nocturne, not a burst Nocturne. For this reason, Fervor of Battle is a lot more useful as it synergises perfectly with the challenging smite allowing you to do more constant damage.

So now let's break down the all of the different mastery tree choices.

Ferocity

5 Points in Fury - As it increases your attack speed, which gives you a better clear early game.

1 Point in Fresh Blood - Out of all the three options, this is the one that will have the most impact when playing Nocturne Jungle as it gives you a bit extra damage when first attacking an enemy champion.

5 Points in Natural Talent - It just makes sense to invest your points in extra Ad and Ap to increase your damage, rather than getting a little bit of life steal, as your passive gives you enough sustain.

1 Point in Bounty Hunter - I prefer this over Double Edge Sword as normally you will kill all the different enemy team champions at least once meaning that you will have a higher damage output mid/late game without taking any extra damage from your opponent champions.

1 Point in Fervor - This is the best keystone by far with this Nocturne build as it just synergises perfectly with items you will build and the rest of the other mastery choices.

Cunning

5 Points in Savagery - As it increases your damage on single targets, and since Nocturne is an auto attacking champ works perfectly with him.

1 Point in Runic Affinity - This is one of the best mastery choices as it allows you to keep your buffs for longer which improves your sustain in the jungle.

5 Points in Merciless - You want that extra damage as Nocturne, plus you got blue buff for mana regeneration.

1 Point in Dangerous Game - This mastery is so strong as so many times it has saved me and has allowed me to pick up a double kill whereas without it I would have died after the first kill.
