I'm killerbacca10 a gold nunu one trick. I one tricked nunu from Bronze 4 to Gold.
Ive played him a lot. Im mastery 7 and I have made an indepth guide on how to play nunu! Enough about me lets get started!

-If your team isn't doing good you aren't.
-Low damage.

Why you should main Nunu
He is a fun ganker. Really good duo partner. He can not 1 v 1 but he is one of the best skirmishing junglers in the game.

This path gets you level 3 in 3 camps and It is healthy.

Red->Use w to run to raptors crash into the big one.->Raptors kill the small ones first let the red buff do the majority of the damage by switching your autos off small ones. Kill the big one last but q it on cooldown.->Roll into krugs eat the medium one and smite the big one to half health.->Go into tribush and roll into the side lane(If this is bot lane your ganking you will be level 3 and they will only be level 2) and kill the enemy laner or get their flash(if you get their flash do scuttle and come back)->Scuttle->Gank mid->Scuttle->Blue->Botlane gank and back(your raptors should be spawning back now.

Role of thumb of nunu is to camp and demoralize the enemy. The jungle path I detailed should get you 3 early ganks. Camp the lanes you got kills in. This is always what you want to do. If your top or mid are not splitpushers or assassins you should look to gank bot lane a lot though. When camping you can gank by running behind your laners and run up the lane and hit your w. You can also tower dive well. W into them under turret it e them then q a minion to get your health back and survive.

Track their jungle by hitting vision plants and getting jungle cooldowns. If his red is coming up he will be red side. When he is on the other side of the map force a dragon or rift herald. Objectives are how you carry as nunu other than ganking.
DO NOT TRY TO SPLIT PUSH IT WILL NEVER WORK NUNU IS A HORRIBLE SPLITPUSHER HE WANTS TO GROUP BY CHARACTER DESIGN!!!!!!!!

Passive-Only thing making you good at pushing turrets.

Q Consume-Basically second smite. Rank 5 you do 980 damage to monsters making you have a lot of objective pressure because with a smite q combo you out smite everything.


W-Your chase down/Gank engager. Gains damage as you roll basically small sion ult.


E-You have 3 snowballs that slow you can throw. Hitting enemies mark them and after a few seconds it stuns them.


Ult/R-Your ultimate slows everyone around you and deals damage based off of how long you hold it. You can cancel it early for less damage. You cant hourglass or get stunned.

Try using your ult with synergy. You can use your e with it by hitting them with the snowballs standing on top of them and ulting. The root will happen during your ult trapping them forcing them to stand there for a long time.

E-Ult-(E roots)

W-E-Ult

W-E-Q-Blue Smite

For your last set of stats pick based on their comp. Never pick health. Otherwise the runes work for every matchup.

Red-If you feel you need more damage go red smite however its not as strong as nunu with blue


Blue-If your cc is not enough in some matchups get blue to proc aftershock. This is the best option.
