Any one with high mobility is going to give you trouble lining up your Q-E and W follow up. Try to keep your distance and keep up CS. Play for team fight phase and do not let her snow ball
Darius
This match up is not fun. Darius wants to be up close and personal with tanks. If you can manage to fight him and trade after he misses a pull or burns his Q while you are in close you can out trade but rush your Thorn for the Q heal.
Mordekaiser
If you can side step his E and force fights after he burns his shield on his W you can go in and out before procing his passive. Do not burn your ult unless he is out of range to ult you. If you ult he can pull you into spirit realm and nullify your ult completely.
Shen
Pre 6 and early its a difficult match up. TO maximize your trade wait to use your breath until after he burns his W. Once the AA block is down you can win trades. Once 6 you can cancel his ults but Q-E combo and keeping vision.
Wukong
Pre 6 you win this. Wait until he clones to use your breath, if you are too trigger happy he will clone out of the path of breath and win trade.
Garen
Stay aggressive and do not allow for his passive healing to proc. Once you get your cinder keeping him close so that cinder resets it. When he spins try to put at least one minion between you and him.
Teemo
Teemo is not difficult once you get 3. Play passive until 3 using Q to farm casters and last hit on your Melee minions. Once 3 your all in after he blows blind will out trade.
Olaf
His ult nullifies all your CC. He out damages Ornn early play passive and wait for jungler help under tower
Irelia
Another high mobility champ that can move around and dodge your Pops and W passive. Allowing her to push lane and safely farming until 6 will be your best path. Keeping her under your tower and catching her dashing onto a minion in range to pop her off a E into tower will be your best opportunity to trade with her. Any high mobility champs are a rough match up for Tanky boy.
Vayne
If you can manage to use Q to farm until 3 you can begin to out trade her. Watch for her rolls and make her pay for using Roll to farm. Rushing your Thorns after cinder will help as well. Her true damage after 3 autos will demolish you, once she gets her Kraken you will not be able to solo her.
Malphite
Sett
If you manage to time your W as he ults it will nullify his ult and put him out of position. Due to his ability to regen health rushing thorn will help in low health fights. Use your E to get behind him as he try's to punch shield to avoid most of his damage.
Sion
This is a very even match up because you can both counter each others pops. If you try to use E to pop him up he can block it mid dash with his pop. However if he keeps channeling his ground smash you can cancel it out by landing pop and disrupting him instead. Try side stepping it and then dashing in from a side.
Urgot
Your Q out ranges his shot gun knee caps. Once you have 3 you can out trade with a Q-W-E or Q-E-W combo. His passive on knees will most likely make lane push under your tower allowing you to step in front of a blast and then CC him while he takes tower agro. Careful pushing lane as he can pull you back under his tower as well and due to Cinder passive you can take tower agro very quickly.
Yasuo
You rush armor and thorns in this lane and its a fairly easy win. His wind wall can block your Q and your R. Make sure you do not initiate a team fight or Q until he burns his wind wall.
Illaoi
This is an easy lane phase however she can come back in the team fight phase if not careful. If you can keep your minions in front and force her to miss her soul grab you can out trade and all in her. However late game she is much like you and wants fights in narrow paths. Do not force a team fight if the positioning is not perfect as her ult will completely melt your team.
Poppy
She can block your Q-E however once she burns it you can dash in after and out trade. Make sure to keep and eye on her shield as well so you can beat her to stepping on it. Do not ult before her as she can ult you back not allowing you to send your Ram back into the fight.
Yasuo
Your ults together a very effective. Try to force fights in jungle and in narrow paths to allow for you to set his ult up from either an R or an E into a near by wall. If using your E to initiate you can follow up with your ult after his ult to make for egregiously long CC.
Yuumi
Large AOE ults work will with Ornn as you can set up for full team knock ups and maximize brittle output.
Sona

Azir
Azirs ult can harm your E if not used properly. It takes a lot of practice and synergy with a team mate to not allow for it to cancel your dash and pop up in the wrong place.
Anivia
Since Frost chickens wall can be destroyed with your E its a double edged sword. If chicken can block off the enemy escape you can get a solid pop form your E. However it will also destroy the wall allowing for them to pass again if you miss time it.
Seraphine
She can bounce her ult off you when you hard engage with your E.

The mighty fist of Frost will give you more tanky-ness and more damage this build over the Sunfire agi. Fisty fist will give Ornn 100 bonus health per Item he builds out side of boots. Giving him a bonus of 400 health to stack with the Hydra passive. Final full build will provide over 200+ resist in both Armor and MR and give you 5500+ health once your Overgrowth is maxed. Pair that with grasp and its health bonuses we stack the two together to give his late game health scaling even more power. This health translates to 55+ bonus damage from the passive on Hydra. The cleave from hydra also becomes more powerful with this health bonus as it deal 3.5% DMG off your Max health.
