This guide is all about the boxes and making sure shaco works to the best of his ability (power) :P

I take flat runes in all forms, Magic pen marks for the ignoring of MR, ability power glyphs for the additional damage on your boxes even at early level and flat health seals to make Shaco more durable early game

I used a basic AP set up for my masteries in order to get the magic pen in offence and the decreased summoner spell CD in utility

Be sure to max ur boxes first. that CD gets less annoying after you get your DFG so maxing it before you get that is a prio, taking 1 point in deceive at the start to give you the get away mechanism and maxing it last, ofcourse maxing your E after your boxes for more damage output :)

ghost and garrison for defence and offence.. nothing more annoying than a shaco ruining ur perfectly nice base capture with a garrison into a box and ghosting away from yo *** :D

If im defending top base which I mostly am, i set two boxes to the path way leading up from the enemy base, and 2 in the bushes at the back of the base.. making sure i keep replacing them as they die.. usually they do enough damage to take the opponent out with one E after but if they dont.. kite the person into the bushes and ur guaranteed a kill.

placing boxes on health relics because most ppl go there at low health.

placing on speed shrines because its annoying lol

placing in bushes when you go to take a base for a easy get away or even stack boxes to lure them in for a kill.

random placement is good too but if you plan ahead it makes Shaco almost unkillable in Dominion :)
