Your Q reduces the opponents AD and Grants you a small amount of Bonus AD for a short duration, as long as you can take the trade during that duration, it's almost impossible to lose it, your level 6 spike is super strong and can usually lead to solo kills.

Is your team ahead as well? If so you can probably build split push trundle with hull breaker and have a ton of pressure in side lanes. However if your teams behind it might be more worth it to build Steraks and help them in team fights. All depends on your situation.

Try to close out the game pre 30 on trundle. He has a lot of trouble once he gets to 4th & 5th item as a lot of other top laners start to out scale him, like Kayle and Mordekaiser. As long as you can get a commanding lead, try to push for an inhibitor, back up as a team and take a baron, then end through their weak lane.
